I yawned as I woke up to the smell of food coming from down the stairs. I went to the bathroom to do my hygiene and then made my way down, after I threw on a pair of shorts and a tank top.
" look who finally has risen from the dead " Antonio joked as he stood in front of the stove cooking.
" whatever boy, where's my baby" I said in a laugh as I looked around with no sign of aaliyah.
" right here" he grinned while licking his lips and looking at me.
" nigga, where is aaliyah" I said as I rolled my eyes at him.
"She's at her grandmother's house" he informed me while turning the stove off and putting the plates of food on the table.
" and why am I just now finding out about this? " I asked with a raised eyebrow as I leaned my shoulder against the wall.
" I didn't know about it either , my mother just came this morning and aaliyah asked if she could go with her , so I let her go" he explained while looking at me with his light brown eyes
" alright Anthony, thanks for breakfast by the way. " I said as I started eating my food.
" no problem " he said as he sat down, and his phone started ringing.
"Hello....I told you yea already.....Yes.....At 8:00......ight, bye"
"Hmm" I said while staring at him and taking a bite of my sausage
" what?" He said while breaking eye contact with me and eating his food
" Who was that on the phone " I asked while still staring at him
"A friend" he said , and I already knew it was a lie just by the way he said it.
" well alright Ant" I sighed as I got up and put my food in the fridge
I made my way upstairs so I could get dressed and start my day. I put on a tight black maxi dress then put my make up on and straightend my hair. I put on my black and gold sandals then sprayed on some perfume before I grabbed my MK bag and checked my phone.
When i seen that I had 1 missed call and text message from Odell, I felt the butterflies form in stomach. Its been one month since Odell and I been talking, and its been great. We've spent mostly every day together after I get off work, but we still haven't taken it to the next step.
