I carried Aaliyah inside the house, after Odell opened the door.

" Front door opened" the security system said. I sat on the couch as I rocked Aaliyah back and forth in my arms as she slept, before kissing her forehead. She keeps me motivated, without her I wouldn't be the person that I am today.

" you can lay her in the guest room upstairs. that's gonna be her room soon anyway " Odell said while locking the door. I stared at him , admiring every feature of his body making my way up to his eyes. " what ?" he said with a shy smile while rubbing the back of his neck

" I can't look at you? " I asked while standing up and repositioning Aaliyah in my arms.

" you can look baby girl. I know im sexy and all that. " he said while smiling and licking his lips 

" you aint even all that cute. where's the other room at ? " I asked before walking up the steps 

" all the way down the hall, once you get up the stairs " he notified me. I walked up the stairs, careful not to wake Aaliyah up and searching for the room. once I entered, it was well organized, but plain. it looked like a simple hotel room, but the closet was almost as big as the room itself.  I laid Aaliyah down on the bed, and pulled the covers over her , making her move around a little before calming back down. I hummed quietly before sitting next to her and moving her hair out of her face.

" Front door open " the security system said, startling me and waking Aaliyah up .

" mommy" she said in her soft voice. " where are we" she said while furrowing her eyebrows and looking around. 

" We're at Odell's house baby" I said , and her face lit up.

" he's here ?" she asked in a sweet smile, making me chuckle

" he's down stairs, come on " I said to her while leading her to the stairs.

i overheard Odell talking to someone in a frustrated tone. we made it to the end of the stairs, but stood behind the wall.

" jasmine. Just go back home " he said in a frustrated tone

" why Odell? you said I could come over today. now all of a sudden you change up?"  the unknown female voice responded. I peaked around the wall and seen them in the kitchen. and it was the same bitch that he was with in target the other day.

" DELLY"  Aaliyah said in excitement while running over to him and hugging his leg. I stayed behind the wall next to the stairwell.

" Who's child is this ? you got a daughter? " she said with a attitude. I was waiting for the bitch to say something smart, then i was gonna pop out the cut and go off.

" something like that , but not  biological... why ? didn't I tell you to leave. " he said to her  while picking Aaliyah up and sitting her on his hip as she pulled some of his curls with her tiny hands. I seen her look at Aaliyah with a spiteful look , so I decided to be petty. I walked up the stairs quietly, before I called out his name.

" Baby " I said from up the stairs.

" who the fuck is that " she said before walking to the bottom of the stairs and looking up at me. I stood there and smiled at her. " this the same bitch that was stalking you the other day " she said angrily, making me laugh. I walked down the stairs and brushed past her while walking over to Odell and Aaliyah. he stood there with a shocked smile on his face before letting out a chuckle.
