9- Aaliyahs day

After picking up Aaliyahs cake and outfit, we had 30 minutes to get to the Venue before her party started. I wanted her to wear a simple pink dress, but of course aaliyah had to go into the costume Isle of the store and get a princess costume.

" oh my gosh mommy , i look so pretty. Can i put on my crown now? " Aaliyah said in awe as she admired herself in the mirror.

" you're gonna put it on when we get there baby " i said to her while  grabbing my bag  and putting my shades on "Come on now,  we gotta go "

" look at yall , looking like a million bucks " Odell said while looking us up and down "especially you Birthday girl,  you look like a real Princess" he said to Aaliyah before picking up her cake and opening the front door for us.

" i know , now all i need is a pretty pink pony  " Aaliyah said as she skipped to the car. Odell gave me the look, like he had something planned and i was eager to find out how he gonna dye a horse pink.

As we pulled into the venue's parking lot, i spotted my broken car , in the same place i left it. Looking at it,  made me think about my house and all the things that went wrong.

" Mommy " Aaliyah called out , making me zone back in from my thoughts

" yes sweetie "

"When is my party going to start " she asked in excitement

"In about a half hour " i answered

" go get your stuff out of your car  " Odell said to me.

I took a deep breath before opening the door and hopping out of his tall truck. I unlocked my car door and i could smell the heat as i opened the door. I grabbed my car charger, insurance papers , and sandals. There was really nothing else inside of it because i didnt hoard a lot of stuff.

I brung my items to odells truck and put them in the passengers seat before closing the door and heading to the venue's door. I looked inside of the glass and everything seemed so perfect, I motioned for Odell and Aaliyah to get out the car with my hand so they could come see the decorations.

Aaliyah grabbed Odells spare hand and pulled him as she eagerly ran towards me and the venue. I unlocked the door and let her go inside first.  She stopped in her tracks and her jaw literally dropped as she stared in awe with her hands over her mouth.

" its so beautiful mommy. Look delly, i even got my own princess chair. " Aaliyah smiled while running over to her  chair, it was pink with diamonds and sparkles all over it and it was twice as big as her. I really had to give Antonio his recognition because he really pulled through,  despite of his actions from last night.

" its amazing Lee Lee " Odell said as he helped her in the chair after he put the cake on top of the decorated table

I tried to call Ant to give him his props but it went straight to voice-mail all three times. He probably had my number on the block list because thats how much of a petty bitch he is. I rolled my eyes before i heard Shackeria'a loud voice outside.

" The queen has arrived " She said with a stack of aluminum pans filled with food piled in her arms .

" That smells amazing " i said as i took some  of them out of her arms and smelled the aroma before setting them in line on the table.

" its more in the car " she said before putting them on the table.

" i got the rest " Odell said to us before walking outside to get the rest of the food.
