The next day

I woke up to my 7:00 am work alarm and the sound of Aaliyah's laughter coming from downstairs. I did my morning hygiene and threw on a robe before I made my way down stairs

"Daddy. Mommy's finally awoke" aaliyah said excitedly to antonio while grinning and running over to me.

" there's mommy's baby" I cooed as I tightly hugged aaliyah and playfully threw her up in the air and caught her.

" I missed you mommy , I had so much fun at granny's house, papa got me a new doll and coloring book and we made cookies. " Aaliyah rambled on about her day as she sat in front of the TV and watched her morning cartoons.

" that's good baby " I smiled while walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge and taking out some eggs, sausages, and waffles.

" good morning to you too Renae" Antonio said while entering the kitchen behind me and sitting at the table.

" morning ant" I sighed and rolled my eyes , dropping the sausages and eggs in separate frying pans. I gotta admit, seeing Ant have sex with another female hurted me to my heart.

" you making breakfast for two?" He asked with a smirk while licking lips.

" yea, for me and my daughter" I said dryly while taking out two plates and filling them equally with food.

"Aaliyah, come eat" I called out to her while putting her plate on the table.

" so you just gonna let your baby-Father starve? That's grimy, but it's cool," he said with disappointed look on his face.

" that's all you are to me, my babys father, your hunger has nothing to do with me " I said

" oh so you feeling salty about ole girl from last night? That was nothing, she was just a flip" he said with a chuckle

" you brought her into our house Antonio. the same house that me and your daughter live in, you didn't even bother to apologize." I said while making my way up stairs to get dressed for work.

" Renae " Antonio said while knocking at my room door.

" hold on, I'm putting my skirt on" I said while waddling so I could pull my pencil skirt over my butt and zipping it. "Alright , you can come in now"

" listen, about last night , I wanna apologize, I shouldn't have brought another female into this house and I wanna make it up to you because you know your the only one I wanna be with Nae. " he said sincerely with his deep raspy voice while rubbing the back of his neck and licking his lips.

" listen Ant, your a grown man. You can do what you want" I said in a laugh. " I'm just here for aaliyah, because I want her to grow up with her father in her life. We need to move on, we will never workout in a relationship Antonio and you know that." I said bluntly.

" so you don't wanna be with me no more? " he said in a questioning tone

" You know I'll always have love for you, but we've grown apart Ant. I can't keep letting you do this to me, you don't respect me. And honestly, I have a new friend that I'm chilling with. " I said , referring to Odell

" let me catch you with another nigga renae, I promise I'll fuck you and him up" he said while getting up and slamming my room door.

" too late now" I mumbled to myself while putting my heels on with my white doctors coat.
