Ethan's POV
"Blow into this." Jay's mom said and handed me the breathalyzer.
With a sigh, I blew into it and regretted having that beer.
"I'm disappointed in you, Ethan. You're supposed to be the good child that I never had, the one who keeps my idiot son out of trouble." Mrs. Tambione sighed.
"Hey, I take offense to that." Jay pouted.
"Your turn." She said and handed my friend the small object.
"You're going to kill me either way though."
"That's right, now blow into it." Her eyes widened when she saw the number. "Jay Mason Tambione!"
"Mom, I just had one drink!"
"Well, it doesn't look like that!" She buried her face in her hands and sighed. "Both of you, get in the car, I'm taking you home now."
"Can you please not tell Josh about this since he'll have my head mounted on a wall." I begged.
"Well, you shouldn't have made the stupid choices that you both did tonight."
"Well, it was nice knowing you, Jay." I sighed.
"Nice knowing you too, Eth. I'll see you on the other side."
I let out a sigh as Jay's mom opened the door for me and walked me up to the front door. She rang the bell and Carter answered the door.
"Carter, do you happen to know where your father is?" She asked.
"He went out to the bar." My stepbrother replied.
"Okay, tell him to give me a call when he gets back. Keep an eye on this one for the time being."
I stepped inside and Carter grinned at me evilly. I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen.
"What the hell did you do? Get naked and bang a guy in the middle of the street?" He asked.
"No. I had a few sips of beer. Sorry I can't fulfill your weird sexual fantasies." I said and went up to my room.
I couldn't even drink in peace anymore. There was something I had to do. I couldn't keep doing this and hate my life. I was done with the world and it was done with me.
