Dean's POV

"No way! You cheated!" I accused after Jonah won a round of Call of Duty.

"How can someone cheat at a game like this? Face it, Dean, you suck at videogames." Jonah said truthfully.

"My feelings are hurt." I pouted.

"Good."

"You're the worst."

"According to the game, I'm the best."

"Sir, Jay Tambione is on the phone for you." Ricardo said and handed me the phone.

"Jay, what's up?" I answered, trying to act cool.

"It's, uh, Ethan. He's awake and wants to see you." Jay said.

"Really? Are you sure he said that?"

"Yeah, trust me, I wouldn't be telling you otherwise."

"Okay, I'll be down there as soon as I can."

"Good."

"Bye." I said and hung up.

"Something wrong?" Jonah asked.

"My friend is in the hospital and just woke up. I'm going to go give him a visit." I replied and handed Ricardo the phone. "Do you want to come with me?"

"No, I'll just stay here. Best wishes to him though."

Ricardo drove me to the hospital which was only ten minutes away. I got out and went in, asking the secretary where Ethan's room was. Then I knocked on the door with a heavy sigh.

Jay opened the door and gave a nod. "I'll leave you two to talk."

I walked in but he bumped my shoulder purposely.

"I suggest you be careful about what you say, mate." He warned.

Ethan was laying in the bed with sleepy eyes that were half closed. He immediately perked up when he saw me and patted the bed beside him. I sat down and felt a bit awkward at the silence.

"How do you feel?" I asked.

"I'm okay. The doctor said that my head is healing a I have a bad concussion but that I'll be fine in a few weeks." He said.

"That's good."

"I want to talk to you about what happened before all of this."

"It's okay, Ethan. Really, we can forget about it."

"That's the thing; I don't want to forget about it. In the time I've been conscious, I haven't to been able to get you off my mind. I even had a couple dreams about you when I was out." He confessed.

I sighed. "To be honest I've been thinking about it a lot too. I felt something when it happened. It was something I had never experienced with a girl."

"It's okay if you don't know. I understand."

It was time to be brave and bold like true kings do. I leaned in and pressed my lips to Ethan's and was careful when holding him. There wasn't a greater feeling than kissing him.
