The Right Sound...

Flying with broken wings,

Drifting away,

With only memories of everything,

Closing your eyes,

Letting all the pain go,

Knowing this time your the only one to hear your cries,

Stars hanging high,

All your words haunting the sky,

Prayers being spoken,

A broken heart as your only token,

Catching the rain,

This is it,

Where you wash away the stain,

They can't take this away,

This is who you are,

This is where we stay,

On the bridge of here to there,

Leaning on the edge as we don't have a care,

Dreaming to the sun,

Hoping someone will come,

Carrying our hopes on our back,

We're the ones on the right track,

Singing the songs trapped in our heart's,

Not having a clue if we'll get to that new start,

Walking the high road,

Thinking of everything we were told,

Listening to the big bad world,

Treating every word as if it were pearled,

This is who we are,

We are what we say,

If you can't see that,

Then go walk away,

We have our hearts in the right place,

Story in the right book,

Eyes that have the right look,

And words with the right sound.....
