Dancing In The Rain...

It won't clear up,

The sun won't shine through.

The rain won't stop,

And I'm still missing you.

Take off my socks,

Take down my hair.

I won't stay in here,

I want to be out there.

Look to the clouds,

This is my only life.

Look to the streets,

Next time I'll see you, it'll be 80 years and in the afterlife.

Each and every drop of water,

Has my heart beating faster.

Each and every step,

Has me jumping with laughter.

No more numbness,

No more tears.

I've wasted,

Enough of my years.

Throw my head back,

Let my mind stop thinking.

Catch the falling water,

I'm done sinking.

I can't keep waiting,

For the rain to clear,

I can't keep waiting,

To get over my fears.

So while I wait for the sun to shine,

I'll be dancing in the rain.

I'll never know how long it will take,

So I'll dance away the pain.

Screaming to the sky,
