Alex's POV Before and Durning The council meeting
"Go easy on them." The head council man Branson stares at me and nods his head. "Why aren't you coming? This is a council meeting Alex and you should be there to decide on the outcome." He huffs and I glare at him.

"I just made my decision let them go." He reaches out grabbing me by the collar of my shirt. "They betrayed the council! Broke our rules!" He yells. I wickedly smile shoving him away.

"As part of the Dark Court I don't see the problem. That's what the ones of the Dark Court do. Anne is the daughter of The Dark King. And was this not all of The White Witches doings. Yet you blame them." He narrows his eyes. "Why aren't you coming and why do you protect this girl?" I cross my arms behind my back.

"This girl will one day have me a child and I can't have her killed by the Council and she expects me. I'll still be watching but from the woods." He sighs. "As you wish. But why do you want me to protect the others?" I shrug my shoulders. "They are all important in their own ways to my plan. Anne wouldn't take it to well if I took anyone else away from her so let them live, for the girl. I already told Nicole to threaten them and scare them into their places. I have it all planned out. Let them off the hook. I told the others to flee soon after the meeting is over. So her friends won't be there for her when this is over with. They never meant to threaten the council and Anne did not know of us."

He touches his finger to his lips thinking and then he smiles.

"Let it all be done then. You saw the future didn't you." I smile ruthlessly. And I laugh evilly. "Of course I did!" He gives me the same ruthless smile back.

"How?" I put my finger to my lips. "I have my ways." He pats me on the back. "Haven't you always." I wrap my arms around his shoulder. "Of course. I always have a backup plan."

He chuckles. "The meeting is about to start. Be good Alex." I laugh. Good. I nod my head and motion for him to leave. He steps forward making his way to the stage.

I nob my head at the other council men and they glare at me. I love being hated. I make my way behind a tree where no one can see me. People start to arrive taking their seats. It only takes a few minutes until I see her.

Her long black hair blowing in the wind. Her baby blue eyes shining with wonder. I can tell she senses me, but she's confused that she can't see me it's not long before she shakes her head taking a seat.

I close my eyes and breath in her summer scent that blows in the wind. I lean up against dosing off, but then I hear screams. I look to see the bloody dagger in Jace's hands.

He stabbed Marvin. I try not to bellow out in laughter. The idiot got himself killed. I smell the wolves bane from here. I feel him dieing as do the other council member who do nothing, but sit even though their Alpha King is dying.

The Council never fights fate. Jace doesn't move, but Anne's wolf attacks him and kills him as a weeping Jake sits with his believed father. I look around for Luke but it seems everyone expect for Stacy has gone.

I see her pain stricken face. Their pain makes me stronger. I breath it in and let it soothe me. I laugh at the thought that precious sweet Anne is a killer. The Wolf wants what it wants to the end. I watch as she comforts Alpha Jake. She breaks down in tears.

I step away from my tree knowing the future is going to happen just how I seen it. All I feel is pleasure that I'll get what I want. A child from The Alpha King and Anne. I disappear like the spirits in thin air. I'll get her one day soon.

Anne's POV

Jake gets down on one knee. He holds my small hand in his big one. "Will you Marry me Anne Marie?" I see the admiration in his eyes. I nod my head tears lining my eyes.
