Jakes POV
I wake up from a dream about Ann. It felt so real. Like she was right here with me this whole time. Pain perches though my head. I rub my temples to subdue some of the pain.

Then I notice the blond women who I hold in my arms, Jamie. My wolf growls. "Run Jake now!" She starts to stir. "Stop it" I hush my wolf. But then my wolf takes over growling at Jamie.

I try to get back control over my mind, but to no avail. Jamie's eyes flutter open. "What are you doing?!" She growls and yanks me on top her. She smirks.

"You've been a really bad boy wolfie." She reaches her hand out caressing  my face. "Now, now wolfie we don't need no fights. But I can fight if you want me to. I can just let my wolf out and we can wrestle. You may not like me but Jakey does." I snarl.

Hating and loving her at the same time. She runs her fingers thru my black hair. "Confused dear?" She mutters. I shake my head yes which makes her laugh.

"You're cute when your angry. Maybe I should try it more." She wraps her arms around my neck and whispers something I can't hear as the confusion in my mind settles. I kiss her lips gently.

But yet it feels wrong until I look at her face and she's Ann. I smile. "Ann?" She giggles in the girly laugh that I know belongs to Ann. "Yes Jakey?" But something in my mind tells me this is all wrong.

I start to pull away when she yells "Jake please don't leave me. How could you have left me to your father. How could you. I thought you loved me that you'd always be there. But the truth is I've never been good enough for you and I've never truly loved you. So choose Jamie. I reject you as my mate. So now reject me." I feel a pang of pain at her words. But they don't seem to be coming for Ann, but someone else.

I narrow my eyes. "You are not my Ann." I growl and my hands turn to my wolf paws and I stick out my claws. Then I hear a mysterious voice. "Oh Jake I wouldn't do that. Or I'll kill you too. Don't make me do things I normally wouldn't Jake."

I stare into Jamie's blue eyes and I see her long blond hair. It's Jamie doing this. No I've completely lost my mind. She grabs my wolf paws as her hands become talons.

"I can be your worst nightmare, but luckily I am your dream." I look around my room to see dark spirits floating around. Their haggard bodies and sharp canine like teeth. I gasp. Dark magic. Jamie smiles. "I've always like how smart you were Jake."

I feel angry raising in my body. I barr my teeth at her. My animal instincts taking over. "What are you doing Jamie." She digs her talons into me at my alpha tone.

"Alpha I am an alpha of my own it is in your best interest not to threaten me. Because I'm afraid I am the biggest threat here. Do you see my spirits here I will let them loose on you, if you don't do as you are told. Who knew you would have such a strong instinct. I thought the spell would keep you mine. But if you make me have to take other measures I will."

I look into the faces of the spirits they look into my eyes. The very thing you don't do to any animal because it's taken as a threat, but that's exactly their point.

My blood trails down Jamie's body. I notice her talons are still in my skin. But luckily my skin is as hard as my head. "Let the games begin." That's when I turn into my wolf. "You should never play the white witch Jake." That's when I go for her throat. I will forever love Ann, my wolf girl.
