Anne's POV
I wake up in the hospital not again. How many times am I going to be here. I swear I keep getting hurt. Stupid curse.

I open my eyes. "Marvin?" I start to panic. No! No! He can't be here. "Are you alright Ann?" I hear the concern in his voice.

He reaches his hand out stroking my face. "No." I grumble out. Even though my wolf side healed me, It Doesn't stop pain. I'm still going to be sore for awhile. He frowns.

"I'm so sorry." I stare at him sitting in the chair by my bed. A thought hits me where the heck is Luke? Is he okay?! I quickly sit forward and pain shoots through my head.

"Ann!" Marvin looks stricken. Why does he care so much. Is he bipolar. He tried to kill me last time I seen him. He flattens his hand on my face.

"Ann. I made a mistake. I shouldn't have tried to hurt you. If I would've lost you. If you would have died I don't think my heart could take it." A tear travels down his face.

Then I hear growling. "Get your nasty fingers off my mate." Marvin's eyes widen. "Mate? Your mate? But she's Jakes?" Marvin looks like he's seen a ghost. But I smile and beam with happiness.

He said I was Jakes. Finally! He understands! Thank The Heavens. "She is not Jakes. She is mine he rejected her!" He bellows.

Marvin pulls away from me. Rejected me? My heart breaks. "I'm sorry Ann we can't be together." I hear Jakes voice saying in my head. He didn't mean that my wolf even agrees he still loves me. It has to be the curse.

"No he didn't! I defend my mate . Luke growls but my wolf growls back she won't accept no one but Jakes wolf. My wolf and Jakes are in love and I love Jake.

"Luke?" Marvin sits back grinning. What are you so happy about you old fart?  "She doesn't want you Luke." He leans farther back in his chair. "Leave or I'll tear you apart father." That's when Marvin jumps out of the chair.

"I am the alpha king you will not talk to me this way. And I will get what I want." Marvin turns towards me pointing at me.

"What am I to you a prize pig?" I huff. What's so special about me? I'm just another werewolf girl. He ignores my comment turning to Luke who's clearly smirking.

"Mine!" I roll my eyes. What's up with these male wolfs and their mines. I'm my own. Mine, oh bite me. At least Jake never did that to me. Well he did practically kidnap me, but I prefer that over this possessiveness.

"You know I have a decision in all this." I clearly state not amused. "Shut up Ann." Then I notice that Marvin and Luke are staring at each other challenging each other.

"I don't want either of you." I raise my eyebrows. "Ann!" Luke yells his canine teeth coming out and his hands turning to his wolf paws.

Then a thought comes to my mind. Why haven't I thought of this before. "I reject you." I mutter. Luke's eyes turn solid black. Marvin doesn't move. He's even scared the alpha King.

That's when Luke goes to jump for me, but Marvin grabs him slamming him up against the wall driving my wolf nuts. Why is she trying to protect him.

Luke's wolf bounces back. I'm jumping in front of Marvin before I realize what I'm doing. My wolf taking control. Luke's wolf paws dig into my skin. "Luke!" I scream at the shattering pain.
