That same evening.

So I didn't necessarily get home. During that last kiss, he mad his hands available to pick me up and take me back into his house. I wasn't going to complain, shoot I loved it. How strong he is and how smooth he is with his hands. He sat me on the kitchen counter island, rubbing his hands up and down my thighs and hips. In the middle of one of the kisses, I had to stop.

"Umm Matt.." I said as he kissed my neck. Ah things were getting heated!

"Yes?" He said, breathing slightly heavy.

"Matt stop for a second." I said seriously. He stopped and backed up. Wow he has great control as a guy. Most guys I know would've kept going.

"Matt you're gorgeous, smart and very attractive personality wise. Please, do not play with me. I have too much going on just to get distracted. I really want to get to know you more. Not because you're Matt Anderson, but because I see you as a great guy." He sat in one of the kitchen stools, knifing his head.

"Okay. I can respect that, but as an athlete, I can't get distracted either. I need support, a motivator and someone to come home to. I'm ready to give someone my all. Ill do what I have to do. Okay?" He said.

I didn't know what to say, I slid off the counter, grabbed my stuff and left his house. I knew I couldn't get distracted. I got in my car and drove home.

-------------------

Saturday 7:34pm - Alisha's apartment.

On the couch, working, I was way too comfortable. Laying around in my sweats, college hoodie and my hair tied back, I continued on my laptop. Midnight, my black kitten, hops up on the couch. I've had her for a long time, learned she's a Egyptian cat. Kinda like the one from Cat Woman.

I close my laptop, go into the kitchen and heat up some water in the kettle. The weather was wet all day, rain and thunder since I've been home.

Halfway up the stairs, I hear a knock at the door.

I turn around and go back down the stair. 'Uhh.. What now?!' I said to myself.

I open the door and see someone covering their face with a vase of a dozen roses. He peeks his head around to see me.

"Awe, Matt! What's all this?" I said.

"Hope you're not allergic to flowers, these are for you." He said giving me the flowers.

I grabbed the vase, "You're lucky I'm not." I walked back into my place and he followed.

"So this is your place?" He explored.

"Yup, this is my home. Make yourself comfortable." I said plopping down on the couch.

I get a text message from a friend of mine.

Dora: ill be there in 2 minutes.

Me: okay. I got a surprise for you.

Dora: is it food?

Me: no, you'll see when you get here.

10 minutes later

"Haha so you're telling me, you're grandmother came out the house with a shotgun and her bra on, ready to shoot the boys messing with you?! Oh my gosh!" We laughed

"It's the truth, I kid you not!" He said. We laughed so hard, then I heard a knock at the door.

I knew Dora was gonna flip when she saw Matt so I asked him to get the door. He answered the door to a short 5'1ft girl on the phone.

"WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER THE PHONE?! IM OUT SIDE YOUR APARTMENT THE DOOR SHOULD ALREADY BE..." She looked up to see Matt standing on the door way. "Open..."

He looked at her confused, "Yes? May I help you?"

"Um.. My friend lives here, and you're Matthew Anderson. Either she moved out and you moved in or something else is going on." I couldn't help it anymore. I came from behind him and we both laughed.

"We're just messing with you. Matt this is Dora, my best friend. Dora you know who he is."

"Nice to me you Dora." He said to her stretching out his hand, she ignored his handshake.

"Mhmm.." she said walking past him. "What-cha doing in here? Getting frisky on the couch? Scaring Midnight half to death? Feeding each other grapes?"

Dora has always been the one to judge. Even when we were in school together, she's get mad because I'd get A's and she's get a B-. She'd think I'd sweet talk to teachers into giving me an extra bonus. Graduating valedictorian, she was the salutatorian , competing for the top was what we always did. Together we moved to New York, got well paying jobs and got our own places. I'd admit, she beat me to getting married. This soul sister is happily married to a white chocolate man named Austin Reid. Her happiness was all I cared about. If bragging made her happy, I'd brush it off and keep going, because friends do that.

I can see Matt and Dora getting along.. Then again..
