Hidden Secrets (ON HOLD)

Chapter 4

Dora is a mess, she questioned Matt, asked him everything. I sensed some tension between them, but because I want things to work, I ignored it. By the end of the night, they were fine. She had to leave and take care of her husband, so me and Matt were stuck with each other for another night.

"She seems friendly." Matt said to me. She worked my nerve, but I love her.

"Yeah, she's something else." I kinda said under my breath. "Did you want something to drink? All that talking and laughing made my mouth dry."

"Yea can I get some water?"

Walking back to the couch, he turned on a movie and I sat next to him.

"Here you go." Giving him his water bottle. He put his arm around me, I scooted closer to him. He smelled so good. I snuggled up to him more, it's been so long since I've had a guy over. He looked down at me smiling, I looked up at him. I couldn't help but blush, even for a brown skin girl, my cheeks got a little rosy. We both laughs slightly and went back to watching the movie.

Hours later, he's laying on the couch on his back and I'm laying on his chest. I find myself falling asleep, gosh I need to keep up with him! I drift off but wake up quickly.

"Haha I saw that 'Lisha." He said

"Shut up. You didn't see anything." I tried to convince. He just laughed as I nodded off again. He paused the movie and sat up.

"Hey, party over?" I asked acting as if I was paying attention to the movie.

"Yeah it's getting late and I have Sunday morning practice." He said picking me up and carrying me to my bed. Gosh I don't think I can get tired of his muscles. Resting my head on his shoulder, I feel him going up the stairs. Laying me on my bed, I manage to say something before he walks away.

"Stay.. Please?" Lord knows I was tired, because the truth was coming out.

"Of course." He took off his jacket and his shirt. He laid next to me, wrapping my arms around me.. It was a peaceful night.
