Chapter 40

Jason's POV

I watched Selena as she panted. We were back in my car, I reached back and handed her a bottle of water.

She took a few gulps before looking at me with wide eyes which only caused me to chuckle.

"That was epic," she said placing her palms on the side of her face.

I started the car and drove out of the parking lot. I looked through the rearview mirror and saw the police pulling the 'wanna be' criminals out with their hands handcuffed.

I would've left immediately because it wasn't really my business but since Selena was in there, I had to get her out. It felt like a responsibility, like something I'm supposed to do.

I was honestly in the mood to get high, but I once again didn't want to do it in front of Selena.

"Lets go get some ice cream" I suggested instead.

"Ok" she said smiling, still not over what happened a few minutes ago.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah,I think I am now, but how come you're behaving all calm and normal" she asked curiously.I think she might have forgotten who I was.

"Babygirl I've been in even worse situations than that" I smirked seeing her come to realization. Her smile faded for a while.

"Are you afraid of me now?" I teased.

"No I don't have any reason to" she replied confidently.

"Why?"

"Because-I just... know" she said.

"Be careful with what you think about me babe" I said pulling up beside Dairy Queen.I glanced at Selena and saw she was flushed and was biting her lips innocently all because I called her babe.

"come on" I opened her door and we walked hand in hand into DQ. I ordered a strawberry sundae for myself and Selena wanted a blizzard for herself, she didn't know what flavor she wanted so the cashier suggested Turtle Pecan. After paying the cashier and collecting our orders, we sat in a booth and ate in silence.

Two teenaged pimpled face boys came in andhand in a sexual way eyeing a naive Selena who was paying attention to her ice cream.

"Hot chick alert"

"I'd like to tap that ass"

My fist clenched and unclenched at their words.I glared at the back of their heads as they were at the cashier whom they were probably hitting on.

"Jason are you alright?" Selena asked placing her hand on mine.

"Yeah" I said and finished my sundae.

We talked for a while and thankfully the pimple faced pricks weren't looking in our direction. We got up to leave and Selena's empty cup mistakenly fell, she was about to pick it up until someone did.

"Thanks" she said with a smile and collected the cup but was oblivious when he felt her hand. He bit his lip and looked my Selena up and down. I pulled Selena behind me in a protective manner.

"Get the fuck away from here" I growled lowly.

"What? Dude, she can do way better than you, baby, don't you want someone like me" he said coming closer to Selena but I pushed him away making him fall, his friend was about to throw a punch, but I punched him in his jaw. The guy whom I pushed, got up and I smiled in satisfaction when I punched him and heard a crack by his nose.

Son of a bitch.

I grabbed Selena's hand and we walked out into the car.

"Wait Jason, why did you do that? he's probably in a lot of pain" Selena said looking over my shoulders.

"Are you serious?!! He was literally mind fucking you!!!!" I shouted in rag. I made sure she was in her passenger seat and closed the door.

I stormed into the driver's seat and drove towards my house. I wasn't aware of how speed I was going until Selena spoke up.

"Can you please slow down?" she whimpered. I looked over at her and saw she was hugging her knees.

I slowed down, and parked at the side of the lonely road.

I reached out and held her hand. "I'm sorry okay? but I couldn't let those guys look at you like you're... " I groaned out loudly and frustratedly ran my hand through my hair.

"Come here" I said and pulled her over to my lap. I let her straddle me as I cupped her face with my hands.

"It wasn't  my intention to scare you off like that Selena, its just that I....." I struggled to express my feelings to her.

She forced me to look into her daring and intense eyes and said " You what?" her eyes were now glossy with tears.

"It's just that I've never felt this way for any one before,you bring out these feelings that feel so foreign to me" I said as I wiped a tear that fell from her eyes.

She was about to say something but I jerked her body towards mine and captured her lips with mine. She immediately responded making me smile internally.

I laid my hands on her hips and my thumbs gently caressed the skin of her of her hip since her top had risen. Our lips parted to catch our breaths and I continued by trailing my lips along her jaw,I inhaled her beautiful scent.I continued going lower until I finally heard her moan. Sweet, I found her weak spot. It was right above her collar bone but below her jaw.

I continued sucking on her spot and soon enough she began gyrating on my lap and I felt myself getting hard.

I pulled away and saw a love bite forming, I looked at her and saw her eyes were closed in pleasure as she continued her movements.

"Jason" she panted and stopped.

"Mmm"

"Can we go home?" she said breathlessly.I nodded and she went back over to her seat.I started back the car and continued the drive.
