The Strangers POV:
I was glad she gave herself another name, though I fear of the reason behind it.
She held her head low and her wings drug in the ground. She was glaring at the grass, as if it had a personal vendetta against her.
I gently nudged her to look up, she complied. Her eyes widen as she sees the mountain, a thick forest stood at the base of the mountain.
"I-it's... beautiful." She gasped and walked a little faster.
"That's your new home, you can sing whenever you want. No one will stop you here." I smiled and followed her.
Erika walked into the small village and smiled at its simple yet beautiful cabins.
I led her past the cabins and into a cave at the base of the mountain.
"This place is huge!" She was looking around excitedly.
"Yes, yes it is." I chuckled and went deeper. She started to follow.
"Stay here Erika, you can't go in this room." I continued walking after she nodded and sat down.
I entered the room and started meditating, waiting for the next mission I knew was close.
I felt the information enter my mind, I breathed out slowly as I used my magic to keep it there. I stood up and headed out.
"Erika, you may go anywhere in this mountain except for that room. I must be going, be safe and don't leave the village." I placed my head on hers gently.
"Okay, I-I'll stay..." Erika sat down and watched as I left.
I need to do this quickly, I don't want her to feel rejected again.
I started running.
