"You're what?!" Elliot shouted as he looked down at his best friend, his eyes were large and his jaw had dropped.

"You don't need to yell, Elliot." She closed her eyes and winced slightly at his booming voice.

They were inside's Elliot's small living room of his apartment which he shared with his little sister, Riley who was still at school.

Olivia made her way to his couch which he's had for about 5 years so it wasn't as comfy as it was before but she couldn't stand to be in front of him.

He sighed as he ran a hand over his mouth. "Am I getting pranked? Is this revenge for putting glue in your shampoo because that was 4 years and your hair has grown back nicely."

She breathed in and out deeply, nervous for his reaction when she answered his question. "I'm really pregnant."

Elliot began to pace the living room floor back and forth, looking shocked as ever. "Who's the bastard I'm going to kill tonight?" He mumbled as he walked.

"Remember when you told me not to go to the club with Noelle a couple weeks ago?"

He stopped walking and turned towards her. "Don't tell me you went."

She took a large breath of air then bite down on her lip. "I did."

"You got knocked up by a stranger?!"

"Nonono! I didn't." She grew with more nervousness.

Elliot walked towards her and fell to his knees in front of her as he put his hands into a praying position. "Please don't tell me that the father is you know who."

She shut her eyes and then nodded.

He groaned and fell back in disappointment. "I cannot believe you."

Elliot was groaning about Jack, he was Olivia secret boyfriend. It was childish but her family would have never let her date someone like him, he was the ultimate bad boy. Everything about a bad boy that could be listed was Jack but Olivia couldn't resist his good looks and charm. Just like any other girl she was reeled in by him.

"I'm sorry, okay!" Olivia regretted it herself, her eyes open again.

She couldn't believe that she would fall for someone like Jack. He was everything that she didn't want in a guy. Olivia felt like she was back in high school when it came to Jack, naive and stupid.

"Where is he now?" Elliot got back up with an angry expression on his face.

"He hasn't been answering any of my texts or calls." She answered ashamed, her eyes couldn't look at her best friend so she looked down.

"I told you so but you never listen to me. Sometimes you're so stubborn that it gets you into trouble." He looked at her with disappointment, his arms were crossed over his chest as he looked down at her.

She couldn't help but feel a pang in her heart, a tear now rolling down her face."I'm sorry."

Elliot sighed as he looked down at her. He began to feel bad for not being the supportive friend that she probably needed. He slowly moved beside her and threw an arm over her shoulder bringing her closer to him, his lips lightly kissed her temple. "What are we going to do?"

"How am I going to tell my family?" She whispered, more tears rolling down her face. Her family wasn't the most understanding and they were extremely old fashion.

He let out a sigh. "Mama Claire is going to kill you."

Mama Claire was Elliot's nickname for Olivia's mother, she let nobody else call her that unless it was Elliot or Riley. Her mother really favored them.

Olivia turned to glower at him, she hit his arm hard. "Don't say that!"

"Ow!" He began to nurse his arm that was now throbbing. "You always punch so hard." His lips pouted.

"You deserve it." She snapped back, wiping her tears away in frustration.

After a couple of moments of Elliot still trying to rub the pain away and Olivia trying to hold back her tears. He looked back at her and smiled sadly, his heart breaking slightly at the sight of his best friend sad. "I love you, Liv."

She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you too."

Suddenly the door opened and Riley walked in once she saw them, a teasing smirk was on her face as she made her eyebrows wiggle but stopped once she saw Olivia's blood shot eyes.

She walked into the kitchen, dropping her bag onto a chair. The kitchen and the living room were connected together so they could still clearly see one another. Riley opened the fridge and took out a water bottle, she turned to face them.

"How are you?" She awkwardly asked.

Olivia moved away from Elliot and wiped her tears away. "I'm good, how was school?"

She gave her a knowing look, it was clear that she wasn't good but Riley brushed it off and shrugged. "It was okay, I guess."

"Any boys?" Olivia wiggled her eyebrows, trying to lighten up the mood.

She immediately began to blush.

Elliot coughed loudly, indicating that he didn't want to hear any of it.

"Would you stop it." Olivia nudged him as she glared at him quickly.

"You ask her that question everyday." He complained, getting up to mess with his sister's hair as he walked by.

Riley frowned and fixed her hair back.

"I ask her everyday because you never let her answer."

Elliot tossed Olivia a bottle of water and rolled his eyes. "Well, too bad. Riley is 16 years old and she promised me that there would be no boys until she turned 50."

"I was 3 years old when I agreed." Riley brought up, rolling her eyes at her older brother's attitude.

"It's still a promise." He replied, a triumphant grin on his face as he leaned against the wall.

Olivia scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"What's the plan for today?" Elliot asked, changing the subject.

Riley jumped on the couch with Olivia and rested her head on her shoulder. "I need help with homework."

Elliot loved that his little sister was so close to his best friend, Riley has always known Olivia to be her older sister since they basically all grew up with one another.

"Your brother will help you." Olivia quickly answered.

He joined them on the couch and leaned his head on Olivia's vacant shoulder. "In a couple of minutes."

This was a typical day for each of them but Elliot and Olivia knew very well that everything would soon change.
