Olivia let a loud yawn as she rubbed her hands over her eyes, she slowly opened her eyes and looked up. At first she didn't recognize the ceiling, she examined the room a bit more and frowned remembering why she was there. Elliot wasn't in the bed anymore, she looked over at the clock and gaped. It was 1pm and Olivia never woke up that late, she always was a early bird but she was extremely tired last night so she couldn't help it. She remained laying in the bed but got up after a couple of minutes, noticing the house was very quiet. Ever since she was little her parents taught her that the first thing she should so before anything else was to make her bed.
After a couple of minutes from making her bed which took longer than usual since the bed was just that huge. She yawned once more and walked out of the bedroom, the quiet sound of music playing from the kitchen. She raised an eyebrow and made her way down the flight of swirling steps and finally made her way downstairs. It was Always Be My Baby that was playing, it was a song by Maria Carey. Olivia was unsure who would be listening. She then walked into the kitchen and bursted out in fits of laughter.
Elliot turned and frowned once he realized that Olivia was laughing at his song of choice.
"Shut up." He rolled his eyes as he continued to pour himself cereal into a bowl.
Olivia couldn't help it, she threw a hand over her mouth trying to calm herself down but she couldn't do it. After a couple of moments of laughing she let a loud sigh and smiled. "Nice choice of music."
"Don't deny that you love Mariah Carey too."
"I do. I just didn't know that you did too." She replied, walking towards the island of the kitchen and leaned on it. Suddenly she realized that he was shirtless only wearing basketball shorts and fuzzy slippers. Although she's seen Elliot shirtless many times it was different though, she felt uncomfortable but she didn't know why.
"Why are you staring at me?" He asked, his back was still facing her.
She quickly looked away. "I'm not."
"You were though, I can feel your beady eyes staring."
Olivia moved away from the island and peeked over Elliot's shoulder.
"Is that for me?" She asked in a sad tone, her stomach was growling fro hunger.
"No, you can make your own food."
Olivia glowered at him. "Seriously?"
"Your food is on the table." He instructed her as he opened the carton of milk to pour it with his cereal.
She quickly looked over and saw that there a huge plant of pasta, she beamed brightly as her body practically floated towards the table in utter bliss. Elliot was such an amazing cook and everyone loved the food that he made.
"Thank you!" She gushed joyfully as she sat down, ready to devour her lunch.
He chuckled lightly, turning off the radio as he nodded then made his way to sit down in front of her.
Once he sat down that's when Olivia stuffed her mouth with pasta that was sitting in the delicious sauce Elliot had made as well. A look of satisfaction met her face. "This is so good." She told him with her mouth still full.
He looked at her with disgust. "Don't talk with your mouth full."
"I can't help it! It's so good!" She exclaimed with food still in her mouth.
"You're just saying that because you're pregnant." He told her as he began to eat his food. "Please don't talk to me unless you've sallowed your food."
Olivia rolled her eyes and began to chew, swallowing loudly. She made her way towards Elliot and gave him a tight hug, she didn't know why but she was extremely lovable today. It was probably all the sleep she got.
Elliott laughed lightly at his best friend's actions.
Olivia beamed and then kissed the top of his head, the smell of his hair meeting her nose.
"How cute." A voice cooed from the entrance of the kitchen.
Elliot and Olivia quickly looked at the person who made the comment, it was Claire.
Olivia moved away from Elliot and raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing home, mom?"
"I just wanted to quickly check in and you two seem more than okay." She answered as her eyebrows wiggled in a teasing matter, obviously referring to the fact that she just caught Olivia smothering Elliot with love.
Elliot crossed his arms over his broad chest, suddenly feeling uncomfortable that Claire was there. He smiled awkwardly as he remained sitting in his spot.
Claire made her way towards Olivia and examined her, she nodded in approval then looked at Elliot. She laughed lightly at the fact that he was shirtless and uncomfortable. "Well, I need to get back to work. By the way, tomorrow I signed you both up for a class."
Olivia gaped at her mother. "A class? For what?"
Claire was already about to leave but she turned around. "It's for your baby, darling. You'll learn more about how you will prepare for your baby and that fun stuff." She answered quickly.
"Mom-"
Claire was already looking at her phone, a look of concentration on her face. "We'll talk later if I'm not busy, okay?" She blew a kiss as she walked towards the door. "Bye Elliot!"
"Bye mama Claire!" He shouted back before the door closed shut.
They both looked at one another with a frown.
"We're going to a class to learn about babies?" Elliot asked, his arms were now uncrossed as he went back to eating.
"I don't want to go."
"You never know it could be fun." Elliot replied optimistically as he shrugged.
Olivia looked at him knowingly. "Then you can go."
He quickly shook his head. "You're the pregnant one."
She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine."
