"Are you ready?" Owen asked, helping his sister out of the car.
They were in front of a hospital, Olivia was getting an ultrasound. She didn't know what to feel, apparently it would cause unnecessary worry but her mother insisted that she get an ultrasound.
Elliot was taking an exam but would meet them there once he was finished. Olivia felt weird without him by her side.
Once they finally got to the front desk, Olivia took a seat on one of the chairs.
"My sister Olivia Andrews has an appointment with Doctor Garcia for an ultrasound." She heard her brother tell the lady.
She nodded. "Just take a seat."
"Thank you." And with that he made his way towards Olivia.
The seats were not very comfortable so Olivia constantly adjusted her position.
"I can't believe my baby sister is pregnant." Owen sighed once he sat down. "With Elliot." He added with a hint of surprise in his voice.
"You're the only person who wasn't excited when Elliot and I became a couple."
"Because it's a bunch of crap." He answered bluntly.
Her eyes widen at his answer, did her brother see right through their lie?
"What are you talking about?" She raised an eyebrow, nervousness suddenly began to fill her.
"I've known both of you all my life and suddenly you two want to have a baby together?" He reasoned. "It just doesn't make sense. Knowing Elliot he would have told us first if he liked you because he knows how old fashion our parents are, besides you two never acted like a couple until the night of dad's birthday party when mom found out you were pregnant."
Olivia continued to listen, knowing that she had to confess to her brother somehow.
"The whole family would have been thrilled to have you two together so don't say that you were scared to tell us because you know they wouldn't be angry." He continued, everything he was saying was right. He had caught them. "And you even told me that you could never see yourself with Elliot and that was only a couple weeks before dad's birthday party."
She was speechless. Crap.
"Is it really true that you're helplessly in love with your best friend?" He asked in a low voice, his eyes looked into Olivia's.
She continued to stare back at her brother, no words leaving her mouth. "Yes." She answered, stronger than she thought her voice would sound. "I love him."
His eyes didn't leave hers, suddenly a smile crept onto his lips. "That was pretty good, hey?" He broke their stare down and leaned back.
She looked at him weirdly. "What?"
"I'm working on my questioning."
Olivia was still beyond confused.
"I'm going to be a lawyer remember? I need to perfect when it comes to the courtroom." He answered, noticing the look on her face.
She slowly nodded then frowned. "You jerk!" Her hand quickly slapped his arm out of anger but also in fright.
"Ow!" He yelped, nursing his arm. "Good thing we're at a hospital."
She let her eyes roll. Her brother was beyond goofy and extremely immature but when it came to work he was a totally different person, he was serious and never cracked smile. You wouldn't expect that he was going to be a lawyer.
"I know you guys love each other." He brought up. "I see the way he looks at you, each time he does its like the first time he's ever seen you even when you look really ugly."
She shoved him in annoyance at the last part he said, trying to ignore the happiness she was feeling.
"I know he would do anything for you too and that's why I honour him." He smiled to himself.
"He would be a great brother in law."Olivia smiled as she looked at her brother, she let her head rest on his. "We are not getting married any time soon." She told him quietly. "I love you."
"I love you too." He kissed the top of her head.
Suddenly a familiar face walked up to them, it was Doctor Garcia.
"This is unbelievable." She stopped in front of them and looked at Olivia's stomach. "You really are pregnant."
Olivia laughed lightly and stood up. "Hey Garcia."
"Where's the lucky guy?" She gushed.
Doctor Garcia was Odette's Doctor as well and even delivered Olivia when her mother was giving birth. She meant dearly to the family.
"He's on his way." Olivia answered.
"I'm so excited." She clapped her hands together and lead them to a room.

In a couple of minutes Olivia laid onto the comfy bench with her shirt lifted up and clear substance resting on her stomach. Owen held his phone, recording every single moment for their parents as he stood up.
"Do you want to wait for-"
Suddenly the door flew open with Elliot standing there, he looked beyond tired like he had just ran to the hospital. "I'm here! What did I miss?"
Doctor Garcia smirked. "I knew it."
They all looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I was waiting for the day you two finally fall in love!"
Elliot and Olivia laughed lightly. It was a constant sentence that was told to them. He dropped his backpack and sat down onto the stool beside Olivia.
"Are you ready?" Doctor Garcia asked in excitement.
He placed his hand in hers and held it tightly, suddenly making Olivia blush. They both nodded.
After a couple of moments, the baby was finally visible which was not fully formed yet but there was a heartbeat.
"Wow." Olivia marvelled quietly as she continued to look at the small tv screen, her eyes welling up.
Elliot smiled as he looked at the tv screen, he couldn't help but feel like this was his baby. Happiness engulfed him as he glanced over at Olivia who was crying.
"There doesn't seem to be anything wrong." She told them, moving the device in her hand around Olivia's stomach.
Elliot brought Olivia's hand to his mouth and kissed it gently.
Olivia looked at him once she felt his lips and smiled. "Thank you, I'm so happy you're here." She mumbled as her lips quivered.
He chuckled lightly and nodded. "I wouldn't miss this for the world."
"I'm here too." Owen raised his hand, in hopes of getting acknowledge as well.
