"This is your new room!" Mark presented as he opened the two doors, their room was down the hallway and it was huge.
Olivia always loved this room and ever since she was little she always wanted to have this room but she never had the chance to, it was the guest room.
"You finally get the room you always wanted." He smiled as he pat Olivia's back with a small smile on his face.
"We don't have to share a room." Elliot brought up, feeling awkward.
Mark looked over at him weirdly. "Nonsense, my boy. You must share a room together." He pat his back roughly. "It's better for you to be by her side so that you can take care of her fully."
Elliot nodded with a fake smile on his face. "Alright."
Olivia stood there and examined the room, it was just as large as the master bedroom. Olivia's favorite part of the room was the balcony which showcased the view of the beautiful sky and the bright sun. The walls were a dark green color and the ceiling was cream with a large fan.
Olivia slowly walked in feeling the hardwood floor and continued to look around the room, there was a long cabinet along the wall that was underneath the flat screen tv and in front of the humongous king sized bed which had about ten pillows on it. She was excited to dive on the bed since it looked so comfy.
"Is it okay?" Mark asked after a couple of moments of silence.
"It's more than okay." Elliot answered, turning around to face Mark. "Thank you so much."
He nodded and put his hand out for Elliot to shake it. "Just to remind you our room is just down the hallway." He warned him as he glared at him.
Elliot let out a shaky laugh as he shook his hand that was hurting since Mark was gripping it tightly.
Olivia turned around to face them. "Daddy, it's Elliot. You can trust him." She rolled her eyes, noticing her father's change of attitude with Elliot.
"I know. It's just different." Mark pulled away his hand, he paused like he was going to expand on what he just said but he stopped himself. "Goodnight, honey." He said instead and blew a kiss towards Olivia and nodded towards Elliot.
Once he closed the door, Elliot looked at Olivia with huge eyes.
Before he could say anything she just turned around and headed towards the washroom which was huge as well, the shower had glass doors and there was even enough room to fit a bathtub. The washroom had cream colored walls and the floor was a light hard wood, making it look modern.
"Elliot!" She called. "Look at the washroom."
A couple moments later he entered and examined the room, nodding as he did. "Better than any washroom I've had."
They both walked out and stood there for a bit, their eyes were now on the bed.
"How much room do you need?" Elliot questioned.
She shrugged. "I don't know, I'm not that big yet."
Elliot then charged towards the bed and jumped onto it, a pure look of comfort on his face. He began to move his arms and legs around as he if was making a snow angel. "How about you just sleep on the couch?" He pointed towards the couch that was leaned up against the wall beside the balcony.
Olivia rolled her eyes and made her way towards the bed, pushing Elliot's body over so she could lay down as well. "How about you sleep on the floor?" She suggested with a teasing smile on her face.
He looked at her then the hard wood floor. "Do you want me to have back problems or something?"
"Duh." She replied, her eyes shutting.
"I just wanted to tell you that you're a jerk." Elliot insulted, his eyes were closed as well.
Olivia ignored it. "Remember that time when you were so obsessed with vests?" She slowly began to giggle as she reminisced on all his old outfits.
Elliot let out a loud groan. "Don't remind me."
"And remember that time when you ripped your pants attempting to do the splits during the talent show in high school?" A loud snort left Olivia's mouth as she started to laugh louder and louder.
He slowly began laughing with her, embarrassment written all over his face. "Remember when you were that musical-what was it called again?" He opened his eyes as he tried to remember what it was called.
Olivia rolled her eyes, knowing exactly what he was talking about. "Grease?"
He then began to laugh. "Yeah! That one. You were so excited on the first night of the musical that when you tried to go in front of the stage you fell off instead?" His laughs made him breathless once he finished what he had said, he hugged his stomach.
She pouted. "That actually hurt though!" But slowly she joined him in laughter, she sat up and tried to calm herself down but she couldn't.
Their laughing continued for a couple of minutes until there was a knock on the door.
Elliot quickly made his way towards the door as he tried to stifle laughs there were still coming out of his mouth, he took a deep breath in and opened the door. It was Riley.
"You guys sound like you're dying." Once her eyes met the interior of the room, her jaw dropped. "Wow." She marveled.
He opened the door wider so that she could enter, her eyes wondered around very inch of the room. She could never get tired of the beauty of this mansion. After she was done she jumped on the bed beside Olivia.
"What's up?" Olivia asked, leaning her head on Riley's shoulder.
"I just wanted to check out your new room before we go."
Elliot joined them on the bed and rested his head on Riley's other shoulder. "It's going to feel weird for the next couple of weeks."
Riley nodded with a sad look on her face. "It's okay, you two have so much for me and I just want you guys to have this time to yourselves."
They remained silent since neither of them knew what to say. A couple of minutes passed and Riley adjusted her position making Elliot and Olivia sit up properly. Riley turned so that she was facing them, her arms opened and she enveloped them into a tight hug.
"Goodnight." She whispered as she hugged them. "I love you."
Suddenly Olivia's eyes filled up with tears, the guilt was undeniable inside of her. She kissed the side of her head. "We love you too."
Riley pulled away and wiped away a tear that hard already fallen down her cheek, she then plastered a huge grin on her face. "You're still picking up tomorrow, right?" She asked, looking at Elliot who looked sad as well.
He nodded. "Of course."
She moved off the bed and walked towards the door. "See you tomorrow!" And with that she left the room, leaving the door wide open.
Elliot rolled his eyes, she always did that.
"Goodnight you two lovebirds!" Odette shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
They both laughed lightly.
"Have fun on your first night together!" Paul bellowed, a teasing tone in his voice.
Before Olivia could shout back, the sound of the front door was closed. She slowly got up and shut their bedroom door.
