both cars finally made it to the well known beverly hills hotel and brin looked out the window, gawking at the beautiful and retro sight that was in front of them. she always wanted to stay here, especially in the famous room of 434, the room where Whitney Houston died in. brin wasn't weird and into all that creepy stuff like that, she just wanted to see if the room was haunted. was it weird? definitely not.

"alright brin, i need you to do some things for me," zoe said, interrupting brin's thoughts. brin looked at her as zoe looked down at her ipad, quickly typing things.

"i was hoping to get some sleep due to jetlag."

"this will only take a few hours, please. if we want this tour to go smoothly, then we better get going as soon as-"

"zoe, tour doesn't start for another 3 to 4 weeks," luke said, groaning as he removed his hat from his head, groggily waking up from his sleep.

"i realize that, but if we want to get calum moved into the apartment-"

"you're getting an apartment?" brin said, not thinking twice about what she blurted out. calum looked at her surprised, surprised that she could even look at him and wanted to make an effort to know something about his life. brin realized that she had a sudden burst and cowered down into her seat, making it seem like she was asking a cool question.

"uh, yeah. moving in with ashton." calum smiled at her and then at luke, who was busy texting away on his phone.

"exactly! now we have to get this show on the road if we want the boys fully moved in and rehearsals right on top of schedule."

the car came to stop in front of the entrance and brin watched as the guards in the first cars quickly ran out and checked if there were any rogue fans. one of the bigger men looked around and he motioned his hand. suddenly the doors of van in front of us opened and out popped out some crew members and ashton and Michael.

"come on guys, let's get settled." Zoe smiles and she immediately pops out of the car, opening the back and placing down the suitcases. brin, calum, and luke quickly meet her in the back and brin gets her stuff, a security guard helping her with two of the four she has.

"you really don't have too," brin says smiling at the guard, walking into the avant garde hotel.

"i don't mind. plus, mr. hood said you needed help," the guard said. he quickly walked up to zoe who was somehow already ten feet ahead of them, but brin slows down. calum said she needed help. she didn't need help. she didn't need him meddling in her life.

"brin!" zoe said yelling and waving her hand. brin tightens her grip on her book bag and dragged her suitcase along, meeting zoe. "here is your key and-"

"you're not rooming with me?"

"well why should i?"

"have you seen the rooms of the beverly hills hotel?! they're fucking huge!" brin said smiling, taking the key in between her fingers. zoe laughs at her excitement and grabs her own bag.

"i'll be down the hall, but i have to be in a meeting in like an hour, so you just stay here with the boys and i'll page you when i need anything."

"i thought you needed something from me."

"i did. but i know what happened with jar-"

"it's okay. thanks," brin said cutting her off. brin gave her a small smile and zoe sighs, nodding her head and turning around to leave until she bumps into a large figure, who happened to be listening to their conversation.

"sorry calum," zoe says laughing, patting him on his back and leaving the area. calum smiles at her and turns around to brin, who was already scolding him.

"you were listening to our conversation?" brin said, a little annoyed.

"i wasn't listening. i was passing by and i just happened to stop here." calum looked at her with both sadness and a bit of slyness, but all brin dos was roll her eyes.

"well stop it." brin grabbed the rest of her bags and started to walk towards the elevator.

"what's up with you and your boy?" calum says, running up to her, gripping onto his own bags.

"why is it any of your business?" brin said, pressing the up button.

"i just wanna know if he's treating you right."

brin laughed and rolled her eyes. "better than you ever were."

"woah, why are you being so sassy-"

"i don't know, calum!" brin said turning to face him fully, gripping her bag. "maybe because i have to spend over 4 months with someone who ruined my life!" she said, whisper yelling at him. the elevator dinged and out came an old couple, all dressed in soft summer clothes. they both stepped aside to let them through and brin quickly went into the elevator, with calum following behind. they both reached for the elevator pad and their fingers both hit the 4th floor. calum quickly pulled away but brin continued to press the button. the elevator ride took only 30 seconds, but it felt like 45 minutes to brin and calum. they were both in this awkward silence and being on each other's phone would've made things worse. the elevator doors finally opened with a ding and brin bolted out of there, trying her best to carry all four bags. she grabbed the key from her pocket and tried her best to find room 424. once she did, she quickly opened the door and threw her bags down, gawking at the sight in front of her. the room was so beautiful and could be bigger than her actual apartment. it was kind of amazing. with coral curtains accenting the white and gold window and a white bed with ruffles at the bottom, accented with a bunch white couches and tables. she sighed and dragged her bags to the white couch and placed all four bags down. she sighed once more and walked to her bed, feeling the soft and cold comforter with her hands. she smiled at the feeling, knowing she was gonna get one hell of a good night's rest.

"never been in a five star hotel?" she heard a voice say and she quickly turned around to see calum changed into a black tshirt, leaning against her doorway.

"why are you so obsessed with me?" she groaned, turning back around, taking off her coat.

"obsessed with the fact that you think i'm obsessed with you."

"well maybe because you are," brin said, turning back around to see calum opening her suitcase. "yo, dude what the fuck?" she quickly ran over to him and pushed him away.

"it's not like i haven't seen your panties before," he said smiling slyly. brin scoffed and closed her suitcase.

"i always knew you were a huge douche," she said whispering, hoping calum wouldn't hear her. but of course, calum may have been a douche but he always listened.

"excuse me?" he said, turning brin around, making her almost bump into his chest. she pushed him off and he stumbled back on his large feet.

"you were always a huge douche!" she yelled. she didn't care who heard her. "even when i thought you changed when i saw in the airport, when i saw you care for those fans, you were always the biggest douche i've ever met!"

"all i wanted to say was that i miss you!"

"well stop!" she yelled with all her might. calum looked at her surprised and hurt and his breathing became harder and harder to do. she ran her fingers through her hair and sniffled, turning around. "you are not allowed to do that to me," she whispered. "you don't get to come out of the blue to say you miss me. you fucked up. you made my life worse."

"brin-"

"get out." she said, not wanting to face him, wiping away her tears. as she said those words, calum's heart throbbed and his palms got sweaty as those two words reminded him of the day she was forever out of his life. after waiting for her to change her mind, she never did and calum nodded at himself, turning around to exit the room.
