I suddenly hear the door open, making me set down my book on the coffee table, making sure not to lose my page number, and stand up.
Sam and Dean both walk in, with handfuls of plastic bags. They walk over, and set the stuff on the island in the middle of the kitchen.
Sam looks around lost, until his eyes connect with mine, making him smile.
"Hey, Blair."
"Hi." I chuckle, walking forward with my arms crossed, and observing all the groceries. "I've got to say, I'm impressed with you two."
Dean gives me a smug smile, while Sam rubs the back of his neck, grinning at me, his cheeks a rosy color.
"Well, it was my idea to stock up," Dean implies proudly and nods at the food.
"No it wasn't." Sam says, turning to him offensively. "I was the one who thought of it."
"I payed. I should get the credit." He says, then flashes me a toothy smile, and walks past, heading straight towards the living room, or, his bedroom.
I giggle, seeing Sam stare after Dean, with his lips pressed together in a thin line. He looks a tiny bit frustrated.
"Well, thank you, Sam. I really did need some extra groceries. Especially with you two staying here now."
I head over to the island, and start to sort through the the bags, putting away the food where it should go in the kitchen.
"Here. I'll help." Sam instantly appears by my side, watching me carefully put something away in the fridge, or in the cabinets, then repeating and placing similar food items in the same spots.
After we're both finished, which doesn't take long, I face him, by leaning backwards on my elbows and arms, on the counter.
"What do you guys usually have for supper?"
"Anything is fin-"
"Pie for dessert! And, anything th-" Deans yells from the living room.
"Anything is perfectly fine with us." Sam says loudly, cutting Dean off.
A quiet, sort of awkward, minute goes by.
"Pie for dessert!" Dean frantically repeats, then instantly shuts up after that.
"I'm so sorry about him," Sam says with a serious face, but I can't help but just laugh.
"It's fine, Sam!" I giggle, and give him a grin, shaking my head slightly, as I turn to the fridge, to grab some vegetables for a salad, and also to the freezer, for some chicken breast. "You can go do whatever."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, you two deserve a proper home cooked meal." I turn around and smile at him. "I mean it, now go." I walk up to him, place my hands on his chest, then slightly push him away.
He gets the hint, chuckles, then walks out of the kitchen. I notice him glancing over his shoulder at me, but I pretend not to notice, as I wash the vegetables, with an unexpected smile appearing across my warm face.

"Dinner's ready!!" I yell, placing the last of the eating utensils on the table, making a tiny clattering sound.
Dean instantly shows up first and quickly sits down at the table, while Sam takes his sweet time, and finally sits down also.
I sit across from Sam, Dean on my left. And the chair on my right empty, making me sigh, but decide to push that unwanted feeling away.
