Thunder crackled as Sam and I finally got off of the Ferris wheel. Although we were under an umbrella top on the ride, as soon as I stepped off it my clothes were already dripping with rain water.

People were storming out trying to get to their vehicles. I could barely see Sam and the rain didn't help since it was getting in my eyes and making everything blurry.

I wiped my eyes with my hands and looked up at Sam beside me.

He was gone. I spun in a circle, praying I'd spot him in the crowd, but with no luck I was standing alone. I felt my heart beating harder then it already was and I suddenly felt the feeling of panic rising in me.

What is going on?

"Blair!!" I hear a voice ring out under the pouring rain. That was Sam.

"Sam!?" I called out. My heart sank when I got no reply. My eyes looked for a tall man in the crowd, but the only thing that stood out was that shed.

Why do I feel like I should go over there. Like a magnet was pulling me, I started to walk the opposite way of the crowd and toward the shed.

My mind felt blank yet I was still letting my feet take me towards it. The rain was making everything harder to see, but eventually I could make out the sheds old features. The old lamppost near the shed shone its light down, casting two shadows on the shed. One from myself and another one. I blinked. Wait no just one.

"Sam?" I called out to the building. I got no answer. "Sam?" I yelled a little louder over the rain, but once again got no response back.

Should I go inside?

I look behind my shoulder to see no one else is around. Most of the people at the fair have already cleared out and it's just me. I start to shiver at the sudden coldness running over my skin causing goosebumps to form.

I look back towards the shed and the door leading into it. It's so taunting, but I literally feel like I've been here before and it's not making me feel very good. But, if Sam is in there I can find him and we can finally leave.

I held a breath as I walked up to the door and stepped inside and just like that the cold rain was no longer on me.

The shed was dark inside. It took my eyes a minute to adjust before I could make out the objects in front of me. I saw tall stacks of unidentifiable things covered with blankets. This is a storehouse? Strange place having it near fairgrounds.

I cautiously walked around, looking for signs of footsteps or water on the ground. Any trace that Sam had come inside.

I saw that there was a screwdriver on the ground, so I picked it up and held it tight in my hand for self defence.

Not long after I suddenly heard something move and I slightly jumped, pivoting towards the direction of the noise.

"Sam?" I said, my voice quivering. I took a few more steps in the direction of the strange thing, holding my screwdriver tightly, but nothing else happened. "Oh" I stood up a bit straighter and cleared my throat.

I turned back around to keep walking when suddenly I was met with glowing yellow eyes. I gasped and felt my entire body jump what felt like 10 feet in the air. The eyes were so bright they seemed fake, yet they were connected to a body and they were so familiar.

"Hi Blair," the person said in a deep also familiar voice, standing the slightest in the shadows so I couldn't fully see them.

"How do you know my name?" I questioned, trying my best to keep my voice steady and my body from shaking so much.

"Oh my dear, I know everything about you," The person said and chuckled. "And you know I do. You've seen me multiple times, hmm?"

I opened my mouth, too shocked to say anything, but nothing came out making the mystery person laugh louder.

"You're so afraid to admit it aren't you. So scared of what Sam's reaction will be if he found out you're just as messed up as he is. It's funny, considering you have fallen in love with someone you don't know anything about."

"I-I do know Sam," I managed to say. I held my screwdriver tighter as this man began to walk closer. "Don't come near me!"

"Oh dearest Blair bear, you actaully don't know anything about Sam. I, on the other hand, have known Sam for his entire life. He's been lying to you this whole time, just like you have been to him as well. You two really do make a perfect couple don't you?"

What? Sam's been lying to me?! About what?

I looked to the ground with my forehead scrunched, my mind abuzz. I couldn't concentrate on one thing for a billion thoughts were jumping in my mind.

"Don't worry sweetheart, I know how to fix all of thi-"

"Get away from it Blair!"

I looked up to see the yellow eyed person look behind their shoulder and hiss. They then suddenly disappeared into a puff of smoke and Sam appeared and ran through it.

I suddenly smelt the familiar scent of sulphur, like from at the diner that one night.

Sam then ran up to me
I dropped the screwdriver on the ground and wrapped my arms around him as him smothered me into his chest.

I suddenly felt tears forming in my eyes. I had never felt as safe as I did right then. Sam's arms felt like armour protecting me against everything, and I never wanted to let him take it off of me.

"I'm so so sorry Blair, I didn't mean to lose you. Are you okay? What did that thing do to you?"

"Sam?" I quietly said, ignoring all his questions, and looking up at him.

"Yes?" He replied in a soft voice, his shaky hand coming to my face and cupping my cheek.

"I want to go home."

"Of course, follow me."

His hand grabbed mine and as we turned around, we were met with those yellow eyes.

"Not so fast," The person said and laughed. "Where do you think you're going?"
