As soon as we get into our hotel room, I immediately plug my phone into a charger beside me and Ashton's king sized bed.
While my phone is charging, I glance up and decide to peer around at our hotel room. Once I do, my heart almost drops right out of my chest.
I get up and start to walk around, hoping I won't get lost in our temporary living space.
Inside of me and Ashton's room there is a humongous 80 inch flat screen tv on the wall with a balcony outside overlooking lit up shops.
In the other room there's a tiny living room area with another large flat screen TV up against the wall, along with a gigantic chandelier hanging overtop of it.
All of the walls are a creamy white color which looks really nice with the marble countertops and framed doorways. There are gorgeous flowers in expensive looking vases on almost all of the tables. I'm almost afraid to look at them let alone touch one. The flowers are probably worth more than me. I'm also afraid to ask Ashton how much this all costed.
And to top it off, we have a hot tub in our gigantic bathroom.
When we pulled up to the hotel in our taxi earlier it looked pretty nice on the outside, but I never expected it to be this nice.
I can't believe Ashton is paying for all of this.
"How do you like it?!" I hear Ashton say from behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"It's...big." I turn around in his arms to face him. "And expensive looking."
He chuckles with a crooked smile on his face.
"It's nice and everything, but how are you going to afford all this?" I add.
"My company is paying for most of it, we only pay for about 25% of it. Along with food and if we want to go tour around."
"Wait, we?" I ask sharply. "I have to pay for this trip too? You're the one who wanted and surprised me to come along."
Ashton blinks a couple of times then responds with a low tone, "I mean, yeah, I'm paying for it. Sorry, misplacement of uh words."
I sigh and rub my eyes. "Well, i'm going to bed now."
Walking out of his arms and over to the bed, I notice my phone screen is glowing. Glancing at the top, my eyes come across a bundle of text messages, all from Sam.
A smile slowly creeps into my face as I reach for the mobile device. But, right as my fingertips touch the phone, a wave of tiredness falls over me once again.
I'll answer it in the morning.

After about a week in Paris I instantly knew that I wanted to go home as soon as possible.
Don't get me wrong, I amour Paris. It's just the experience I've been having in the city of love hasn't been enjoyable at all. Ashton is always busy at his meetings and he doesn't get home until late at night.
I've been touring Paris a bit. But, I don't find it as fun without someone by my side experiencing the things I see and keeping me company.
Also, there has been breaking news almost every night. I've watched on the tv that there are a lot of banks and expensive stores being robbed.
The other day there was even a murder which sends shivers down my spine at the thought of past memories with near death.
I want to get away from death and pain at all times. I didn't come to Paris to feel frightened and watch tv alone all day or tour around by myself. Plus, I hate to admit this, but I've been feeling very homesick.
Though, the bright side to having a lot of free time is I'm able to Skype and text Sam a lot. I text him literally almost four times or less every two hours.
Out of everything that I miss back in North America, I miss Sam the most. As cheesy as it is, I miss his huge hugs and our cuddles and our late night movie marathons.
Spending time with him is more exciting than any trip I could take in Paris or anywhere else in the world.
Hopefully this next week and so will go by fast. Maybe I-
I hear the door suddenly unlock and I sit up to peer at Ashton walking in with a bulging suitcase.
"Back so soon?" I say, hopping off of the king sized bed.
He looks up, his hair messy, sticking up in different directions, and grins.
"Get your best dress on tonight, baby. I'm taking you out on a five star date."
"Really?" I ask, hope dripping from my voice. "You're not going to any meetings?"
He shakes his head.
I let out a small squeal and begin to prance over to my suitcase.
"Where are we going?" I ask, my voice higher then usual.
"You'll just have to wait and see."
