Chapter 8

Addilyn's P.O.V.

"What do you mean you saw him with another girl?" Patty had just arrived home from a quick trip to Starbucks, only to see Nate with another girl.

"Yea and it seemed like they were having a really deep conversation."

"I just, I had asked him earlier to see if he wanted to hang out but he said he was busy and hung up." I muttered rubbing my hand.

"Maybe it was his sister?" I looked at her incredulously and shook my head.

"It can't be because they're not visiting until next week." Patty sighed and sent me a pitiful smile. "Do you think he's cheating on me?"

"I mean, you guys have been going out for a couple months and he never showed signs about being a cheater."

"Do I confront him?" I asked.

"No." I looked at her confused until her face formed into a smirk, "We make him jealous." My eyes widened at her idea

"And how are we supposed to do that?"

"You have your first ever show tonight, right?" I nodded my head, "Well that's where the plans forms into place."

"That still doesn't answer my question."

"Just leave the planning to me" Before I was able to question her further, my phone started ringing.

"Meet me at the studio NOW! No questions asked!" Derek left no room to argue and I simply grabbed Patty by the arm and pulled her into the car.

"Where are we going?"

"Derek said to meet him at the studio" Patty nodded her head and we stayed silent throughout the whole car ride.

I parked the car and made my way into the studio with Patty.

"So what was so importa-" I froze mid step, causing Patty to bump into me. "Holy mother of-" There in front of us stood Justin Bieber himself.

Derek comes out from the corner and smirks at me.

"Addy, Patty, this is Justin Bieber." I mentally fangirl as he smiles,

"Hi, it's so great to finally meet you. Derek here showed me some of your tracks and I guess you can say I'm a fan" He let out a small laugh and I mentally awwed at the sound.

"Wow uh, that's awesome!" I smiled so big it felt as though my cheeks were about to fall off.

"So I was thinking that you guys can collab and maybe perform it tonight?" My attention turned towards Derek as my smile grew even wider, if possible, and I looked back at Justin to find him with a smile as well.

"Yea definitely!" I exclaimed. I immediately got into work mode and moved over to the laptop.

"I actually have a song that I've been working on and I think you'd be the perfect person to do it with." He smiled and sat next to me.

"Let me hear a bit if the beginning." I pushed play and watched as he bobbed his head to the beat. I paused the song and turned towards him.

"That's actually really good" I smiled a big smile.

"So you think you can come up with a verse for it?" I asked hesitantly.

"Oh definitely."

"Hey, sorry to interrupt, but I have a quick question for Justin." We both turned towards Patty and awaited her question.

"Would you be willing to let us use you to get Addilyn's boyfriend jealous?" I looked at her in surprise, but it quickly changed into embarrassment as Justin turned around to look at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Oh god." I hid my face in my hands and shook my head.

"Sure." I immediately rose my head and looked at him. "Anything to help a friend right?" I was speechless as I stared at him and Patty who were both grinning.

"So what's the plan?" We both turned towards Patty and awaited her Marvelous plan.

"Alright, so this is what you guys gotta do.."

It was about 30 minutes before show time and Nate had called approximately 15 times. I ignored all his calls and focused on doing well tonight.

"You look hot!" I said smiling at Patty.

"You look smokin girl."

"Thanks. So are you ready for tonight." I sucked in a breath and ran my fingers through my hair.

"I don't know." I mumbled. "I called my dad and my brother."

Her head shot up and she looked at me with a smile. "But they didn't answer and I doubt they'll actually come." Her smile dropped and she embraced me in a hug.

"2 minutes until you go on stage Addilyn." I let go and smiled at Patty before making my way to center stage.

I stood in position and all at once the lights on stage turned on, momentarily blinding me. I smiled and brought the mic to my lips "WHATS UP LA?!" The cheers brought a grin to my face and immediately the music to my first song started.

We had performed about four songs and it was finally time to perform the song with Justin.

The familiar tune of The Way was heard over the speakers and I made my way to the edge of the stage as I started to sing.

I made eye contact with Nate and found him smiling up at me. I ignored him and spoke into the mic. "EVERYONE PLEASE WELCOME JUSTIN BIEBER!" The crowd went wild and I smiled as he ran on stage.

I moved my body with his as he sang his part in the song and watched as the crowd went crazy. At one point I turned to look at Nate and found a glare on his face. I smirked at this and continued dancing.

The song came to an end and we bid our farewells to the crowd. I made my way to my dressing room and changed.

"Girl you did so good!!" I laughed and hugged Patty. "Alright I'll leave you to change and meet you on the dance floor." I nodded and slipped my outfit on. The door opened and I assumed it was Patty, "Did you forget anything Pa-"

Nate stood in the middle of the dressing room with a glare on his face.

"What the fuck was that on stage Addilyn?"

"Oh you're one to talk" I muttered while applying my lipstick.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He growled out.

"Who were you with at starbucks today? and don't lie to me!" His face paled as he rubbed his chin.

"I was talking to Gabri and-"

"You're fucken ex girlfriend?! You mean the bitch that fucken broke your heart?" I yelled.

"Yes but-"

"You're fucken ridiculous" I shook my head and walked out of the dressing room and down to the bar.

Patty's P.O.V.

As I left Addy's dressing room, I headed down to the table where Sam was seated with his friends. His back was turned towards me and I was able to catch a small glimpse of their conversation.

".... he has to stop this bet before she finds out."

"What bet?" I asked confused.

Sam's head spun towards me as he looked at John nervously.
