RECAP:

"Yea, I mean what is Y/N gonna do when she finds out that the only reason you went out with her was because you made a bet with your buddies." My heart dropped as Johnson's words left his mouth. This couldn't be true right? It has to be some sick joke for snapchat or something.

"She's not going-"

"What?" My voice cracked as I stepped into the room. They all turned towards me and all their eyes widened. Nate's face paled as he jumped up from the couch. The first tear fell as I looked at them with hurt in my eyes.

(Yall should listen to this while reading, lowkey made me cry lol)

I quickly turned around and tried to make my way up the stairs as fast as I could.

"Babe wait!" Nate yelled.

I ignored him and continued running up the stairs until I reached the living room. The girl's laughter immediately stopped as they looked at my tear stained face.

"Addy what's wrong?!" Emily half yelled standing up.

"Addy it's not what you think!!" Nate yelled finally making it to the living room.

I angrily turned around to look at him as the tears streamed down my face. "What am I supposed to think Nate?!" I yelled back. "That I walk in on you guys talking about how I was a simple bet and be completely okay with it?" All the girls gasped except for one.... Patty.

"You knew didn't you?" I whispered as she looked down. The tears continued as I felt the betrayal from someone I considered to be not my bestfriend but my sister. "HOW COULD YOU?!" I yelled. I ran ready to attack her but someone grabbed me from my waist pulling me back. "You sat there and listened as I told you I was starting to love him and not once did you warn me!" I tried to make a go at attacking her but I was once again pulled back.

"You weren't supposed to find out!" Patty cried. I let out a laugh at her pathetic excuse.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?!"

"I did it because Sammy said I had to keep it from you" Patty cried as Sam held her in his arms.

"So you betrayed your bestfriend for a dude that is probably doing the same to you as they did to me! I can't believe I called you my bestfriend, you disgust me!"

"You ARE my bestfiend Addy!" Patty yelled crying.

"No. No you're not. A bestfriend is supposed to warn me when the only reason that my asshole of an ex boyfriend is only dating me because I'M A BET!!" I yelled back.

"Addilyn" Nate whispered.

I then realized that the person who was holding me back was the one and only Nate. I immediately escaped his arms that once made me feel like home and glared at him. I shook my head and ran upstairs to his room.

I slammed the door, locking it in the process. I reached under the bed and pulled out my suitcase. Nate yelled and banged on the door as I randomly threw clothes into my suitcase, trying to get out of this house as soon as I could.

I zipped up the suitcase and closed my eyes before opening the door and facing a teary eyed Nate.

"Please move Nate." I whispered.

"No! I'm not letting you leave me! I can't lose you Addilyn!" I went to move around him but he grabbed my face and smashed his lips against mine.

I pushed him away and slapped him across the face, my palm stinging. "Don't fucken touch me" I muttered. I pushed him out of the way and made my way downstairs in time to see Nate's family walk through the door.

Their smiles dropped as soon as they caught sight of my suitcase and my tears.

"What is going on?" Kami asked concerned.

The tears fell faster and I ran into Kami's arms. I cried on her shoulder as she soothingly rubbed my back. "I'm sorry" I whispered. I pulled away and ran out the front door.

"Addilyn!" Nate yelled. I quickly threw the suitcase in the backseat and jumped into the drivers side, locking the doors.

"Babe, babe. You can't leave my Addy" Nate cried. By now everyone was out on the porch watching the scene unfold.

I rolled down the window and reached for Nate's hand. He looked hopeful for a moment until I let go.

He looked down realizing that I had placed the promise ring he had given me not even a week ago onto his palm. He seemed to freeze up as he stared at the ring in his hand before a fresh batch of tears streamed down his face.

"No." He shook his head. "You promised until forever remember." he whispered.

"That was before I realized I was just a bet." The tears streamed down my face as I rolled up the window. I turned on the car and reversed out of his driveway.

I had to stop myself from turning the car around and running into his arms but I kept reminding myself that I was a bet. A simple bet.
