Addilyn's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of my phone blasting Young Jesus by Logic.

I groaned and unlocked my phone, realizing it was five in the morning. I also realized that I was in a hotel room. I immediately ripped the sheets off my body and sighed in relief at the sight of last nights clothes still on my body.

Confused, I looked around until my eyes landed on a note on the bedside table. I cautiously picked it up and opened it to be met with Johns messy writing. I took a deep breath and read the first sentence.

Dear Addilyn,

I know you probably hate all of us right now but

I just want you know that all of us feel terrible for what

we have done to you. I have bought you a plane ticket back

to LA without the others knowing but before you leave I want

you to consider listening to our explanation about the whole

situation. Now , I'm not good with all the sappy shit but I know that

if you don't come back you don't want anything to do with us and we won't

bother you and you can go on with your life and not have to worry about us.

Please consider talking to us.

Love, John.

My eyes were now filled with tears but I had decided what I wanted to do. Without another thought, I got up and grabbed my belongings, heading out the door.

I sat in the uncomfortable airport chairs, waiting for my flight to be called.

John had been nice enough to bring the rest of my bags last night and now here I was, waiting for my flight to be called and contemplating my decisions.

Sighing, I put my head in my hands, partly because I had a killer hangover from last night and also because I was confused on whether I was doing the right the right thing or not.

Should I just give up on a relationship that i spent a whole year of my life on?

I shook my head, Yes.

I had a right to walk away. Nate had plenty of time to call off the bet, but he chose to go through with it.

"Flight to Los Angeles, California is now boarding." I looked up and watched as everyone got up from their seats and headed towards the entrance.

I got up from my seat but stood in place.

Maybe I was hoping for Nate or someone to come running and beg me to stay. Maybe I was just looking for a spark of hope or a sign for me to stay.

Realizing how dumb I sounded, I grabbed my carry-on and walked up to the flight attendant and handed her my ticket.

I looked back one more time and shook my head.

I walked into the plane and quickly found my seat. I set my stuff down and sat down, buckling up the seat belt.

As I looked out the window I came to a sudden realization,

This was it.
