Addilyn'S P.O.V.

"So where are we going?" Nate took his eyes off the road for a split second and turned towards me.

"It's a surprise." He smirked. I rolled my eyes with a small smile on my face and changed the radio station until the familiar tune of ice ice baby by Vanilla Ice  filled the car. Nate let out a laugh while I grabbed a water bottle sitting in the cup holder and brought it to my lips.

" All right stop, Collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo, I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle." By this point Nate had taken out his phone and started recording me while maintaining to keep his eyes on the road.

" Take heed, 'cause I'm a lyrical poet
Miami's on the scene just in case you didn't know it
My town, that created all the bass sound
Enough to shake and kick holes in the ground
'Cause my style's like a chemical spill
Feasible rhymes that you can vision and feel
Conducted and formed, this is a hell of a concept
We make it hype and you want to step with this
Shay plays on the fade, slice like a ninja
Cut like a razor blade so fast, other DJs say, "Damn."
If my rhyme was a drug, I'd sell it by the gram
Keep my composure when it's time to get loose
Magnetized by the mic while I kick my juice

If there was a problem, Yo, I'll solve it!
Check out the hook while D-Shay revolves it.

Ice Ice Baby Vanilla, Ice Ice Baby Vanilla
Ice Ice Baby Vanilla, Ice Ice Baby Vanilla

Yo, man, let's get out of here! Word to your mother!

Ice Ice Baby Too cold, Ice Ice Baby Too cold Too cold
Ice Ice Baby Too cold Too cold, Ice Ice Baby Too cold Too cold" The song ended and we busted out laughing, at one point even Nate had joined in on the singing.

"You're something else" Nate laughed looking towards me.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"I've never met a girl, in LA, that isn't afraid to just be herself"

"I guess you got lucky." I looked out the window and tried to prevent the smile making its way onto my face.

"We're here." I hadn't even realized that Nate had parked his car. He excited the car and made his way towards my side.

"M'lady" I laughed and said a small 'thank you'. I took in my surroundings and noticed we were at a local park.

"Let's go." I turned towards Nate who had a basket in one hand and a checkered blanket in the other. I smiled and walked towards him, taking the blanket from his hands.

"I didn't want to go overboard and take you to a super fancy restaurant."

"This is perfect." He smiled his dimpled-smile and led me towards a spot near the small lake.

"This is so pretty." I walked towards the spot under the shade and laid the blanket on the ground. "Yea" I heard him mumble.

"I hope you like turkey sandwiches because that's the only thing I know how to make."

"Are you kidding me?" Nate looked up and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "Turkey sandwiches are my favorite." He let out a sigh of relief and lightly hit my thigh.

"You scared me. I thought you were gonna yell at me." I let out a laugh and smiled up at him. "It's the thought that counts."

I pulled out a turkey sandwich and took a bite out of it. "This is delicious" I closed my eyes and enjoyed the wonderful taste. When I opened my eyes Nate was looking at me with a small smirk.

"Oh shut up." I laughed as he wiggled his eyebrows.

We finished our sandwiches and just laid on the blanket looking up at the sky.

He suddenly got up and looked down at me. "Wait just a minute, I'll be right back." I didn't even have time to respond because he left in a jog to who knows where.

I checked my twitter and noticed that I had been tagged in a lot of tweets. Confused, I checked the tweets and realized it was the video from earlier that Nate had taken of me earlier. I scrolled through some of the tweets and laughed at the thought that they 'shipped' us.

Footsteps neared and I stuffed my phone in my pocket while Nate made his way onto the blanket holding two ice cream cones.

"Here ya go"

"Ooo mint chocolate chip, how'd you know that was my favorite?"

"I may or may not have a friend that is like totally obsessed with you." I let out a loud laugh and shook my head.

We ate our Ice creams in silence and just stared off into the distance.

"Hey uh Addiyln, you have a little something on your face." Embarrassed, I turned towards him with wide eyes.

"Where?" I tried wiping all the spots on my face.

"Right here" Before I knew what was happening, Nate shoved his Ice cream in my face. My mouth was formed into and 'O' shape until I came back to my senses and smashed my ice cream cone onto his face.

We both looked at each other and busted out laughing. I swiped my finger against his cheek and put it in my mouth, "Yummy" He laughed and reached into the basket handing me a napkin.

"Here let me help you." He gently took the napkin from my hand and cautiously grabbed my chin between his fingers. He wiped the napkin across my face gently and looked at me with a smile on his face.

At this moment I realized how close he was. I could practically feel the warmth radiating off his body, and how pretty his eyes looked under the star light.

Realizing how close we were, I cleared my throat and pulled away "Maybe we should go." I whispered. He snapped out of his daze and lightly shook his head.

"Uhh yea." We got up and packed up everything before getting in his car.

The car ride home was silent except for the light sound coming from the radio.

"Thanks for the date, I really enjoyed it." I smiled at him.

"It was no problem; maybe we can do this again?"

"I would like that." I smiled and leaned over, laying a small kiss on his cheek.

"Goodnight" He smiled. "Night" I made my way out of his car and into my house with a small smile on my face. I was definitely excited for date number 2.
