So My friend Brianna and I are writing a fanfic so I hope you like it! Let me know your thoughts if you do end up reading it! Thanks love you guys!xx.

The rain began to fall harder outside as I got my little sister,Jennifer, ready for her first day of kindergarten. This was my responsibility now that my mother was gone and my father abandon us. Since my mom died when Jen was about 2, she doesn't hold many memories of her so she can live her life to the fullest with very little grief. I envied that about her. Growing up I had very few friends, so my mother was very close to me. Sadly, around the time I was 16 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died a few months after. It's hard to believe its been 3 years since her passing.

I brushed the thought away as I help Jen tie her light brown hair back in a loose pony tail. She tugged her pink back pack over the white and pink floral shirt she wore and skipped towards the door. Happy to be starting her first day of school where she can live the childhood that I've been trying so hard to provide her.

"Ready whenever you are!" She chirped as she stood by the door holding her backpack straps in her hands.

I sighed and grabbed the car keys that were on the table next to the door and headed out of our small apartment. The cool air of early fall brushed our faces but not enough to chill you to the bone. I always loved London at this time and during the spring, reminding me of a fresh clean start and a gentle end. I grabbed Jen's hand, as she had become distracted by a colorful rock on the ground, and led her toward my old pick up truck that sat patiently in the crowded parking lot. I helped her up into the truck and made my way down the street. After about 10 minutes of driving, I parked in front of a small brick building. Shutting the car off and carrying Jen, we made our way to the entrance of the building.

I carried Jen down a long hallway and into what appeared to be a reception office. A woman with short blonde hair and a long flowing skirt made her way over to us.

"How can I help you?" She greeted a little to cheerfully for this early in the morning.

"Uhh I called about a week ago to enlist my sister, Jen, in your kindergarten program. I already dealt with all the paper work so I guess I'm just hear to drop her off?" I questioned, hoping to pass this woman's mental test.

"Oh of course! You must be Catherine! Follow me dear!" She motioned as we walked down another hallway, this one much shorter, and opened a door which was to her right.

My ears instantly filled with laughter and playful screams as we made our way inside a large playroom filled with kids. Jen was squirming in my arms with excitement so I placed her on the ground. I grabbed her hand before she had a chance to run away.

"Be careful okay love? And listen to whatever your teachers say okay? I don't want to hear anything bad on your first day!" I chuckled and kissed her forehead. She eagerly nodded and handed me her backpack before running into the crowd of playful children.

"I can take that for you. We have little cubby wholes where the children can put their belongings. I'm Mrs. Pratt by the way. I work with the kids and make sure they stay safe in there." She took the colorful backpack from my hands before extending her arm in a kind gesture. I shook her hand back and motioned that I would go and see Jen for one more goodbye.

It was hard for me knowing that she was growing up. I didn't want to leave her just yet seeing as though she was the only family I had that didn't completely abandon me. Not that I needed anyone to look after me now, I am 19 and used to having to cope. But it was still hard.

I spotted her stacking wooden blocks next to a girl her age. She had light brown hair like Jen, but was slightly taller and had prominent dimples poking out of her cheeks. Her soft green eyes watched my sister as they attempted to build their creation taller only to have it fall and result in the bursting out in laughter. I walked over to the girls and squatted down next to them.

" I have to go now love, I'll be back around 2:30 to pick you up okay." I held her cheeks in my hands in an attempt to keep her attention on me.

"Kitty Cat please, I know I'm trying to play with Gemma, I love you bye!" She squeaked. I laughed at the nickname she used for me. That's what my mom used to call me. I shook my head with a slight grin and stood up to leave but was stopped by a tall form blocking me.

I glanced up at the face that belonged to the brick wall in front of me. His green eyes watched me intently as a backup a bit, making myself now 3 feet from the oddly familiar man. He stood with his hands deep in his skinny jeans. Hair swept up in a curly quiff. He looked so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Sorry I was just leaving" I muttered realizing I was starring.

"No worries" His deep voice echoing in my ears as he smiled. Deep dimples formed on either side of his lips. I looked down at the little girl, Gemma according to Jen, and realized the resemblance. He must be dropping his sister off as well.

It was getting a little awkward between us so I just nodded and extended my hand for a hand shake. I shook his hand before examining him closer. "I'm sorry but I feel like I've seen you somewhere?" I questioned, hoping he would ease my brain from the deep thought it was in, trying to connect his face with a place.

"I've seen you around school a few times, if that's where you were thinking" He shrugged.

That's when it hit me. We went to the same high school. I know what your thinking, 'She's 19 she should be graduated' but the year that my mom died I had decided to take off since it was so emotionally difficult for me. Which resulted in me having to stay back a year but it didn't really bother me. School kept my mind from worrying about Jen and my mom. Often times I would have to drop Jen off at my friend, Sarah's house in order to go to school. Sara was about 5 years older than me and was a close family friend so I trusted her.

I nodded in embarrassment. He probably thought I was some stuck up snob. "Sorry I don't wanna come across as arrogant" I sighed releasing his hand. I blushed in realization that I was still holding it. Wait why are you blushing Cat!? Pull yourself together!

"It's alright no worries. I'm gonna talk with my little sister for a bit if you don't mind. I just wanna wish her a good day" he smiled again before bending down in front of me and began talking to her in a soothing voice.

I turned to leave as it was none of my business what he was doing and made my way back to me truck, heading to the school I belonged to as I did my best to shake those stunning green eyes out of my mind.

Hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter! Many more to come! My friend Brie and I decided that we are gonna do point of views so I will be typing Cat's point of view and she will do Harry's, I thought it was a cool idea! Love you all! Xx.
