Cat's POV
Today was gong really well for me. I was surprised at how well Harry and i got along and how easy it was for us to hold a conversation. It was last period and I agreed to meet Harry by his car after shcool so that he could drive me home after we picked up the girl from kindergarten.
As I made my way out to the parking lot, I was immediatly tugged to the ground by my hair, which sent everything I owned falling to the ground. Gee, I wonder who could have done that?
"Where's Harry to protect you now you worthless piece of shit!" Kierra stood over me with her hands on her hips and her eyes glaring daggers at me. "Let's see what you've got here." She snorted as she went through my belongings.
"Boring," She tossed my notebooks aside along with my pens and other school supplies.
"Oh what's this?" She dangled my key ring in front of my face.
"I think I'll keep this for now, you belong on the street anyway."Before I could protest, she kicked me in the stomach and marched the other direction. Leaving me in pain as I watched her car speed off out of the school parking lot.
I sighed and began to gather my belongings back into my bookbag. In all honesty it didn't bother me that she had taken my keys. It only held my house and car keys and I could always get the locks on my apartment changed. There was no point in trying to get them back because I knew that she wasn't going to give them back.
I winced in pain as I made my way to the other side of the parking lot where Harry stood patiently waiting for me. I tried my best to compose myself because I didn't want Harry to see that there was something wrong.
"Are you alright? You don't look too good," Harry held onto my arm as I plastered a fake smile on my face.
"I'm fine let's just go get the girls." I stated. I had no idea what i was going to do about tonight. There was no other spare key for me to get into the apartment with. I guess I could stay at a hotel but Jen didn't have any clothes for school tomorrow and I didn't really have the money for that.
"What's on your mind?" Harry questioned. I just then realized that I hadn't said a word to him since we got in the car.
"I....Uh...Well Kiera and I kinda had an incounter after school and... Erm... She kinda took my keys..." I trailed off and looked out the window. Well this was embarrassing...
"SHE WHAT? Why didn't you stop her!? Do you have a spare?" I turned and looked at him and noticed that his knuckles had turned white do to the strong grip he had on the steering wheel.
"She kind of kicked me so i couldn't stop her..." My voice trailed off yet again. I don't know why but this conversation made me embarrassed.
"Do you have a spare key?" I could tell he was doing his best to stay calm and not break the window by his head.
"That's the probelm... I don't..." Oh God I wish I could just jump out of this car right now.
"If you want you can stay the night at my place. It's rather small but I'm sure we can make due." He turned his attention toward me. His eyes locked with mine and I couldn't help but smile at the kind gesture.
"Are you sure? I don't want to be a pain, I could always find a hotel I guess," I rambled. He has been so kind to me these past couple days. Or day I should say... Did I just rhyme in my mind? I did it again! I'm turning into freaking Dr. Seus!
" It's no problem at all, Hope you don't mind meeting my mom though," He chuckled
So not only would I be meeting Harry's mom but I would also be spending the night at his house... Well this is going to be interesting to say the least.
