Visiting Air Temple Island

"I can't believe I wanted to do this so soon!" I said to Asami, while pacing around the ferry deck. "What if they're not okay with it?"

"Korra, relax. Stop pacing and look at me. It will be fine. All of them want you to be happy, and they will respect our decision. Now calm down." Asami said, gripping my shoulders.

"You're right. But-" Asami cuts me off by giving me a kiss. 

"Feel better, Avatar Korra?"

"I love you, Asami." I replied.

"Right back at you." Asami said, pulling me in for another kiss. "Now let's get off this boat. We're almost there."

"Do you mind getting a bit wet?" I ask her.

"Not really." she answered. I then pull up a water spout.

"After you, milady." I say, helping her onto the spout. We then surf the short distance left to Air Temple Island, with Asami laughing all the way. We arrive slightly before the ferry.

"Well, I guess it's time to go meet the family." Asami says, looking up at towards the buildings.

Korra and I walked into the main building after successfully avoiding Kai. Tenzin, Pema, and Bumi, along with Tonraq and Senna, were eating breakfast.

"Korra! Asami!" Tonraq said, jumping up and hugging Korra.

"Hi Dad!" Korra said.

"How have you been? What's going on here in Republic City?" he asked. "Wait a second..." he said, looking at me. "Is that... a betrothal necklace?"

"Well, um..." I replied. All of a sudden, Meelo and Ikki burst into the room, followed by Jinora with Rohan trailing behind her.

"Korra!" Meelo exclaimed, hugging her.

"Hi Meelo." Korra said, ruffling his hair.

"Kids, sit down and stop bothering Korra." Tenzin said. The four kids rushed to the table and started eating like crazy.

"So, is that a betrothal necklace?" Senna asked, standing up to give it a closer look.

"Yes, it is." I said. "Korra proposed to me and I proposed to her." Everyone except Rohan gasped.

"Oh my gosh!" Ikki said loudly.

"Honey, that's wonderful!" Senna said, walking over to hug Korra. Tonraq soon followed. Korra then pulled me over.

"You're going to be a part of this family too, you know." she said to me.

Congratulations!" Tenzin, Bumi, and Pema said. The room then filled with noise.

"When's the wedding?"

"Do Mako and Bolin know?"

"Okay, okay." Korra said, raising her voice over the din. "No, we don't know when the wedding's going to be yet, and yes, Mako and Bolin know, we told them yesterday."

"How did Mako take it?" Jinora asked, smirking.

"Surprisingly well." I replied. "He didn't blow up like I expected." Pema then interrupted the celebration.

"I hate to be the one to break this up, but I think you two need to get to work." she said to Korra and I.

"Oh shoot! She's right, Asami!" Korra said, looking at the clock.

"C'mon!" I said to her. "Thank you for having us! You all are welcome to come over to our house to continue this later." I said to everyone else as Korra pulled me out.
