"I'm thinking Cordelia might need a different waterbending teacher." I said to Asami, who was looking over some paperwork for Varrick.

"Why? You're a really good waterbender." Asami replied, looking up.

"Yeah, but it's not what I use most of the time. Even when I use it, I use the other elements to back it up." I explained.

"Who would you suggest, then?" Asami asked. "If you hadn't noticed, there aren't really any notable waterbenders in Republic City."

"Well, I don't know! I just thought I'd mention it to you!" I said, starting to get angry.

"Oh, so now it's up to me to find Cordelia a teacher?" Asami asked, also starting to get angry.

"I didn't say that!" I said, quickly becoming defensive. Just then, Asami glanced at the clock on her desk.

"Oh, spirits! I have to get to work! We can finish this discussion later." Asami exclaimed, grabbing her bag and giving me a quick kiss good-bye on the way on the door. At that point, Cordelia walked down the stairs in her training outfit.

"Is it time to train yet, Momma?" she asked.

"Yeah. I'll meet you out in the arena. I need to get changed." I replied, beginning to walk towards my and Asami's room.

Asami

As I drove to work, I thought about what Korra had said.

"I guess she's right. The Avatar isn't the best teacher for anyone, as much as both of us would like believe that. I'll look into it later." As I pulled up to Future Industries Tower, I saw a huge crowd of reporters and protestors. Chief Beifong's officers were attempting to hold them back, but it wasn't working that well. One of the officers spotted me and came over.

"Hello, Ms. Sato." she said. "I'm Captain Kiera Myers, and my squad is here to safely escort you and your workers into the building safely."

"Why? What's going on?" I asked, very confused.

"Two days ago, we apprehended a small group of individuals who broke into your office. When we found them, they were arguing over how best to set a trap for you. During our questioning, one of them confessed that planned to kidnap you and hold them for ransom." Captain Myers explained. "Of course, once reporters got wind of this, they showed up her. And then a bunch of other people showed up, protesting the arrest, claiming police brutality, and of course, since you're part of this whole mess, protesting same-sex marriage, and the rest of the shit these people hate. So that's why."

"Oh." I said, a little overwhelmed. "So what are police officers doing about the crowd?"

"Trying to control it in whatever way we can, and like I said earlier, making sure everyone who works in Future Industries Tower gets in safely." Captain Myers replied. At that moment, one of the protestors spotted me talking to Captain Myers.

"Hey everyone! It's Asami Sato!" he yelled jeeringly. Then all hell broke loose.

"Thar's it, Cordelia. You got this." I said reassuringly, as Cordelia struggled to hold together a water sphere. Suddenly, the radio, which I been using to play calming music, switched to a news story.

"And now we bring you special coverage from Future Industries Tower. A large crowd has gathered, consisting of reporters and protestors." the journalist said.

"Uh oh." I thought, turning up the volume.

"While the police have not yet disclosed any details on why this mob is here, it is currently throwing heavy things, insults, and bending at an earth barricade, set up by the officers to protect them and Ms. Asami Sato, CEO of-" I flicked off the radio at the mention of Asami's name, and ran inside.
