Phils POV
~Wednesday
It's PE again , yay!!! My absolute favourite lesson!!! Woo!!! I walked into the changing rooms and into my new usual corner. It's quite busy but no one even glances at me. I quickly put on my shorts and slip on my trainers. I take of my shirt at the wrong moment. Dan looks at me with a faint blush but as soon as he realises I'm looking he gives me an angry look.
"Put a top on,y- you're disgusting" he stammers.
Did he blush? Oh my god , does he like me ? No way , no way . Ugh I'm so full of myself. As if he'd like me . Ugh, I always fall in love with the wrong people.
I jog into the gym and sit on the bench with the rest of my class.
"Listen up!" Mr Brad shouts " ITS DODGEBALL!"
Oh god no. I can't even run down my road let alone play dodgeball with actual physical balls that will hit me. Mr Brad puts us into two teams. I look at my team , mainly pretty sporty people but quite a few of the smart kids that prefer to not get involved in PE. The other team had like all of the 'populars' (or jocks if you want). Dan was clearly in charge as he whispered to all of them , probably about who they should target.
The whistle blows.
Before I have time to think about what's happening a ball slams into my face.
"Oh shit" I cry and clutch my nose. Blood drips quickly and heavily from it. I look up . Some of the lads were high highfiving Dan. He looks at me and scratches the back of his neck and looks away , guilty.
I get sent to the toilets and I'm in there for about twenty minutes until it stopped bleeding. When I get back to class I am allowed to sit on the bench.

I sat down at my usual lunch table and grab my lunch from my bag. I look up and see Dan next to me. He sits down and I tense up.
"Um I'm sor - um." he starts " I'm coming to your house tonight to work on our project."
"Oh okay." I try to look away.
" Good . I'm also eating lunch with you to make sure you don't leave school early without me."
We eat our lunch in silence and then we head to our next class. The school day ends and I see Dan run up to me.
"Cmon,lead the way dork."
