Chapter 27.  Revenge on PlaRh

The next day, I go back to the Library for a little bit. I don’t find anything useful so I continue searching the underground caves. I come across a chamber, much like mine but nicer. I assume its Gea’s chambers. I am curious about what’s in here. I look around. On one of the bookshelves I find an old note book.  In the note book, are, well, notes. I flip through them, as I do I learn two things, One, Gea has very bad handwriting. I can’t real tell what a lot of the words say. The second thing, Gea was once in love. I read the paper.  (Which, isn’t very reliable, due to the terrible writing)                                                                                       PlalRh (I can’t read it very well, she has really bad hand writing) met me today. We kissed in the woods. It wasso romantic .Iwonder if we will get marie dsoon. I know Im only si xteen, butwe love each other, so that’s ok, right? I hoep we can be together forever, I need to go. Good bye journal.       I keep going through, and the story gets sad.                                                                                   PlaRh abandonedme. He doesn’t know. I think I’m going to have to leave, I don’t want peopleto judge me, or him. and the baby. I’ve gathered my thingsa nd I’mleaving .I’ll leave a note formy parents.  I’m goingto say goodbye tomy home. I’ll write later. Bey.                                                               It’s a sad tale. She was pregnant and PlalPh left her with a baby. I wonder what happened to it. Maybe it died. Suddenly I hear footsteps coming down the hall. I sort of freak out a little, and move ridiculously fast to shove the note book back on a shelf, then dive behind a mirror.  Gea’s clacky shoes get louder as she comes closer. She walks in, mumbling something about penguins. She rustles through the things on her desk, finds what she was looking for and walks out. Her clicking gets softer until I can’t hear it any more. I let out the air I hadn’t realized I was holding in, and stand up from behind the mirror. I sneak out of the room and run all the way to my balcony. Lily looks at me, her head turned to the side. I sigh and flop on the bed. I’m so done with this place.
