Chapter 28. Why am I here?

I wake up the next morning feeling sad. I just don’t want to keep going. I don’t eat anything, but instead lie on the floor of my room and just think. I’m not happy. I’m just stuck. I wish I could escape, but I can’t. I can’t help Haden and the other elementalists, and I just feel useless. I don’t like that feeling. Lily flies down and lands on my head. I look at her little face. She looks concerned. She tries to get me to stand up but I just lie there. I’m just tiered. After a while of her pulling me I stand up and let her drag me around. She changes my night clothes into a green Victorian dress that comes down to my shins. It has a brown lace up bodice, and short sleeves. On my legs are thin looking slippers and green striped socks. After she’s down with my clothes, she leads me out.  We walk out of my room, and into the Fay city. She drags me around showing me the city. The little fay houses don’t look like what you would expect. Instead of an actual house, the look more like bird nests with roves. They do have a fine collection of junk. I see fay of every color fly by. It’s like Christmas lights. Lily leads me to farther into the fay city, to a part that looks like a market place.  There are fay wandering around trying to get other fay to but little bits of junk: glass beads, paper clips, beads, pencils and pens, and all sorts of other things. It’s insane, sort of like the mall. Lily leads me else wear, trying to show me the other various places in the city, but I’m not really paying attention anymore. I just want to go back to my room. After a few minute Lily see’s that I’m still not happy and takes me back to the palace.

I decide to listen to eavesdrop on Gea, see if I can discover her plan. I take off my shoes to sneak towards her chambers. I tip toe in my socks, and arrive at the entrance of her cave. I peak in; I see Gea standing in front of a mirror. She taps it with her index finger.  The glass on the mirror starts to swirl. The colors change, and when it starts to clear, I see Mrs. Underlan. She looks at Gea solemnly. “You called?” she asks. “Yes, I need you to help me. We will be taking the Circulum.” She explains. Mrs. Underlan smiles. “Are you going to kill him?”  “Yes, I’m going to use some extra power.” Gea says to the Mirror. “What kind of spell are you using that it needs so much power?” Mrs. Underlan wonders. “Love Suicide, what else?” Gea says smugly. Love suicide? I think, what’s that? Mrs. Underlan shakes her head with a laugh. “You are one for drama. I’ll help you, if I can kill the girl” says Mrs. Underlan.  “Agreed.” Gea says strictly. “Where is the Extra power coming from?” Asks Mrs. Underlan. “The girl of course, why do you think I had you find her? She’s going to be my secret weapon” says Gea. I give a silent gasp. I’m going to be a weapon? To kill someone?
