Temper's POV
I gazed into the bathroom mirror thinking. I twirled the small box in my hand. The more I looked at it the more I wanted not to do it. But I couldn't back out now. This was the one moment I was waiting for. A couple butterflies were not about to sike me out. I sat the box on the counter looking at myself harder. I want to do this. I need too. "Come on Temp stop being such a pussy. You got-" I was suddenly cut short by someone coming in.
"You shouldn't talk to yourself its Weird." My sister Beyonce came in. "Yeah well, you should consider knocking first." I snatched the object off the counter. I tried to walk around her but she threw up her hand to my chest. "Whoa... What is that?" She pointed to my pocket. "Its nun of your business. That's what it is." I said sternly. "Sure it is because if my sister was about to purpose I would hope that she would tell her big sister something as important as that." Beyonce crossed her arms.Bey is my big sister of two. Shes happily married with a beautiful daughter. She's always been there for me through everything and I the same. We tell each other everything. Expect for this. I didn't want to tell her something I'm not a hundred percent sure about.
"Sh, sheet up!" Whispered at her. "Keep your voice down. I don't want anyone to know." I said leaning up against the sink. "T I'm not just anyone! I am your sister!" She upped an eyebrow. "Does Mama know about this?" She said upset. I sat looking at her blankly. "Ooo you a trader!"she yelled quietly. "Well don't stand there. Show it to me." She said motioning at my pocket. Pulling out the ring I popped the box open.
The look on Giselle's face was priceless. "Oh my gosh! T..." She said speechless. "What? Is it to flashy?" I said a little sad. "No,... Its beautiful." She was really taken back. She leaned against the door. "You really think your ready for this?" She questioned. "Bey. In the last year I have put Kelly and my child in forty thousand square feet. I never wanted a big house. She does though. And I'm pretty sure that my daughter is going to need plenty of space to play. I have the family and a house. Now the only thing missing is ring to lock it together." I said looking at the box in my hand. "I know everything seems like it's passing you by. But at some point it will slow down. I just don't want you to look up and see that it's not what you want." She informed me. I gave her a smile. "I appreciate the concern sis. I am going to marry her though. And what ever she wants is what I want." I slipped the ring back in my pocket. I gave her a smile before I exited the bathroom.
