Chapter 3!!
I walked across the street, where a park and a lake were. My tears still rolled down my face.
I sat on an empty bench facing the lake. I sat there and cried for hours. I felt like I couldn't stop crying; I don't even know why. I was over Drew. Well I thought I was.
Finally pulling myself together, I stood up and walked over to a car.
"Logan?" I said, hopeful.
A dark haired boy turned around. "Yeah?" His big blue eyes went worried.
"Kendall, what's wrong?"
He jumped up from his driver seat. I shook my head.
"Nothing, just a rough day." He nodded, understanding and pulled me closer to him. "Can you take me home?" I asked in a muffled voice.
"If I can stay for awhile?" I looked up at him. "Of coarse." He kissed my forehead. His little mustache he's been growing since the summer tickled.
On the way home I explained everything to Logan.
"Hey, I'm home, Logan's here too!"
Dad looks at his watch, "Hmm, right on time."I rolled my eyes and looked over to the living room to see my sister, her husband Taylor, and their adorable daughter Chloe.
"Aw, Chloe's here."
"We thought we'd surprise you guys."
My sister told me as I picked up my niece. I hugged my sister. Kyle and Taylor were playing video games.
My sister Morgan just graduated from college. She met Taylor in high school and they've been together ever since. She doesn't come by very often because dad doesn't like Taylor too much, he has tattoos, which dad hates. Morgan also got into this tattoos obsession so she now has a few, which makes dad not like Taylor more but he's very good at hiding it.
"We're gouge to my room." I said walking up the stairs.
"Alone?" my dad stated the obvious.
I stopped halfway up the stairs. "uuuh, yeah?"
He frowned. "Why don't you go outside. It's nice out there." He pointed to the backdoor. I groaned. Logan followed me to the backyard. "He is so dumb. Like I would do anything with you. You're my best friend. It'd be weird." I laughed. "You're not even my type." I added.
"What are you trying to say?" He said, his mouth was gaping.
"Nothing, I just see you more of a brother."
He nodded. "Whatever. Hey I gotta go. Mom just texted me. Brother watching."
He refused to call it babysitting.
"See you Monday." I said waving as he walked around the house to the front.
Kyle walked outside. "Dinner is ready. Hey, where did Logan go?"
"He left." I said walking in behind him. "Dad?" he asked.
"What do you think?"
Dinner went by slow. Nobody talked except mom and Morgan. I stared at my plate, barely hungry.
"Honey, are you ok?"
"Huh, Oh yeah. I'm fine."
I took everybody's' plates and washed them with Morgan and Mom.
"Morgan and Chloe can sleep in your room, right?"
"Sure Mom, I'll go get the extra mattress."
I ran upstairs to the hallway closet and took the mattress to my room and set up Chloe's playpen and sat on my bed.
