The Beginning

Hazel eyes open. Checks time. *7:00 AM* “Oh no! I’m late for school!” Lola yelled as she turned on her favorite song, Jackie and Wilson by Hozier. Quickly putting on her light blue skinny jeans and her red plaid shirt. She looks in the mirror, smiling. She applied her make up, grabbed her phone, backpack and got in her car then started driving to school.

She pulled into the parking lot. Her boyfriend Adam ran up to her car, opened the door for her and picked her up hugging and kissing her. “I missed you so much baby!” He said while hugging her. He was in California for the last three weeks. “I missed you too!” Lola said hugging back with her legs wrapped around him.

“Are you sure you’re ready for tonight? I just want it to be special for you….” Adam said as he put her down. Lola said nothing, all she did was nod. Adam picked her chin up gently and said “God, you have no idea how much I love you.” He kissed her again and they started walking to class. Lola wasn’t ready but she loved him so much she would do anything for him.

School felt like it lasted forever but finally the bell rang. Lola and Adam met up and hugged. “Wanna go get something to eat?” Adam asked. “Um, sure. Should we meet at my house because we both drove our cars here?” Lola asked. “Nah, I had Billie drive me here.” Adam said looking down at her and smiling. Adam was 6’1 and Lola was only 5’4.

They got into Lola’s car and went to Chili's. Afterwards they went to her place, her parents weren’t home so they were alone. Once more Adam asked “Are you sure?” “Yes.” Lola said quietly. As they started kissing...
