Lola opened her eyes and looked over at Carl sleeping. She smiled and cuddled up next to him. "Good morning, beautiful." Carl said waking up. "Good morning, my love." Lola replied. Lola honestly couldn't have been happier. "You know we're going to have to see Enid soon, right?" Lola asked Carl. "Let's not talk about that... I'm still trying to think of a way to tell her i'm in love with you and not her... It's going to be hard." Carl replied honestly. "Why is it going to be hard?" Lola said defensively. "Babe, can we not start this? I meant that she's a good friend and she's happy with me. I have to tell her the feeling isn't mutual." Carl said.
"Well, i'll tell her if you want?" Lola said smirking. "No, you've been in enough fights with her. I'll figure it out soon I promise." Carl leaned down and kissed her lips. He left the bedroom to talk to Rick. Lola laid back, smiling.
"Everyone, it's time to go!" Rick yelled. Everyone loaded up their bags and got into the vehicle. Lola was in the car when Carl started to get in. He looked at her and looked away. He didn't even sit next to her! It was very quiet. Lola was confused so she tried to grab his hand but he jerked away and gave her a confused look. That hurt Lola most. Did he just use her? Did he lie about everything he told her? Did he change his mind?
Time passed by and they finally pulled in. Right when they parked, Carl jumped out of the car. Lola saw Enid standing behind the fence waiting for Carl. Carl pushed the fence away and grabbed Enid and began kissing her and twirled her around. "I knew I could trust you!" Enid said kissing him back. Lola's heart stopped. A tear slid down her cheek.
Lola started walking towards them, Carl pushed Enid gently to the side of him. Carl faced Lola to confront him. She hit her shoulder against his and walked right passed him. Carl stood frozen. Lola walked into her house and locked the door. She sat around thinking. Night time came around and she heard a knock at her door. She opened her door and saw Carl standing there. He walked up to her and kissed her. At first she didn't pull back until she realized what he did.
She shoved him back. "Who the hell do you think you are?" Carl stood there surprised. "Carl, how could you do that? I thought you loved me? I thought I made your life livable? I thought I made you happy? I guess not. Am I not enough for you?" Lola yelled. Carl tried to talk but Lola wouldn't let him. "I'm just so hurt that you would look me right in the eyes and lie to me. I tried to give you everything you wanted but I guess it still wasn't enough. It'll never be enough will it? I can't believe I let you say a couple things like 'I love you' or 'I never stopped loving you' to let you into my heart." Carl tried to cut in one more time. "No! I'm over it and i'm over you. Hope you and Enid last because i'm not going to dive in and save the day." Lola finished. "No, Lola! Please!" Lola slammed her front door in his face.
She slid down the door and started crying. Eventually she fell asleep against the door. She woke up and got dressed and walked outside. She decided to climb up her tree and relax. She saw Enid and Carl holding hands walking around. She looked away and looked beyond the fence. She wanted to jump but she remembered what happened last time and didn't want to risk her life like that again.
She eventually got down when she heard about the meeting Rick was going to have with everyone. They had a nice bonfire lit and everyone was sitting around. Carl and Enid were cuddling and Lola sat close to Daryl. Enid winked at Lola and laughed. Daryl looked over at Lola and said, "You kids and your bullshit never ends, does it?" "I wish it did." Lola responded.
The entire meeting Enid was just glancing at Lola. After the meeting was over, Lola walked passed Carl and Enid when she heard Enid say "So Carl, you were saying how much more you love me more than you ever loved Lola?" Lola turned around and said "So Carl was the other night the real thing or just a one night stand? Oh wait, I forgot I wasn't supposed to say anything in front of Enid, my bad." Lola heard Daryl chuckle. "Excuse me, bitch?" Enid said standing up. "Yeah, Carl wanted to tell you that when we were on that trip that we slept together and he told me about how much he loved me more than you! Isn't that funny?" Enid looked down at Carl and looked up to Lola. Enid started laughing and threw her fist back and punched Lola's nose. Lola fell back but quickly got up, tackled Enid and started punching her over and over again.
Lola heard nothing but a buzz. She just kept punching and punching, Enid pushed her too far. Lola heard a muffled "Lola, stop! You're gonna kill her!" Someone finally pulled her off Enid and held her back. Lola looked down at Enid and saw what she did. Enid was so bloody, Lola couldn't believe she did that. Lola pulled herself away and ran to her house. "I'm a monster! I'm a monster!" She kept telling herself in her head. She locked the door and didn't ever plan on leaving her room for a long time.
A week later she decided to leave her house and face her consequences. She saw Rick and walked up to him. "Rick, can I speak to you for a sec?" She asked. "I don't know are you going to try to beat the s***out of me too?" He asked with his arms crossed. "Rick, that's not fair. What I did wasn't okay but she asked for it." Lola responded. "Lola, how did she ask for it?" "Well for starters she punched me first! Plus she kept dangling Carl in front of me." Lola said defensively. "You know what Lola, I like you but you're a trouble maker and I don't have the time or patience to deal with them. That being said, if anything like that happens again, i'm going to have to ask you to leave and not to come back. Are we clear?" "Rick?" Lola said shocked. Rick walked away.
Lola stood there, shocked. She looked to her right and saw Carl guiding Enid who looked like hell. Lola turned to her left and started walking away. A part of her hated herself for doing that but the other part didn't regret it at all. She walked into a small corner and saw a crack and noticed it was an opening to outside. She looked closer and all the sudden she sees a walkers eye. Lola screamed and tried to run but the walker grabbed her foot and she tripped. "Help!" She kicked the walker in the face and ran away.
"Walkers, walkers! They're coming in!" Nobody was outside. Lola looked back and what seemed to be thousands of them were coming towards her. "Help please." She said sobbing. She ran toward another corner and noticed she was surrounded. "Help please..." She said quietly. They started tugging at her. Gun bullets started flying. Walkers turned around and they fell like dead flies.
Lola looked up and saw everyone standing there with their guns. She saw Carl staring at her. She slowly got up and ran up to Carl and hugged him, sobbing into his shoulder... just like the first time they met. "Never leave my side again, please." Lola said quietly. "Never again, I promise." Carl responded.
