Lola and the group jumped out the window and ran into their car. "Go, go, go!" The women yelled. The truck screeched, then started and they were on their way. Lola sat in the trunk of the truck. Not tied up anything so it was ok. She sat back there with another male. "Where are we going?" Lola asked. "Were going to Hill Top Colony." He answered. "What's that?" She asked. "It's our own little town." He answered smiling.
They finally got there. "Jesus, my man!" The male said jumping out of the car. "Jesus?" Lola thought to herself. Jesus looked over at Lola. "Who's the young girl?" He asked. "Well, we don't know. We found her right before we were attacked by millions of walkers and we weren't gonna leave her to die." The male answered.
Jesus walked up to Lola and held out his hand. "Paul but people usually call me Jesus." Lola shook his hand. "Lola Green." "Nice to meet you, welcome to Hilltop." He said smiling. "Thanks..."
She got her own room and slept for days... *BOOM* People started screaming. Lola woke up terrified. "Oh my god, not again." Lola said, running out of her room. She looked over and saw people shooting her people. She screamed and ran out to the exit.
She made it outside when all the sudden she felt a major pain in her leg then all the sudden she fell over. She started screaming. She had been shot. "WAIT!" She heard a female yell. "DON'T SHOOT HER!" The women ran over toward Lola. Lola couldn't recognize her face, she was going unconscious. "Lola? Sweetie? Please stay with us! Carol! Help me lift Lola up. We need to take her to the car NOW! Oh my god, you're gonna make......." Lola passed out.
Lola woke up and saw Maggie starring at her. "Maggie?" Lola asked. "Oh my gosh, Lola. Are you okay?" A major pain went through her leg and Lola yelled. "Yeah, you got shot..." Maggie said looking at Lola's wound. "I'm so happy you're okay... We looked everywhere for you... it's been months." Lola must have been in a coma at Hilltop longer than she thought.
Maggie started crying. "We all thought we lost you... I'm really happy you're here with us now." "Me too..." Lola said grabbing Maggie's hand. "I'm gonna let you rest now." She kissed Lola's forehead and shut the door. Lola fell back asleep.
Weeks passed and Lola felt a million times better. She hadn't been outside yet, she only tried walking in her own house. She finally walked outside. She wanted to walk by herself. After walking passed a couple blocks, she passed Enid and Carl holding hands walking. Her heart dropped. Carl wouldn't make eye contact with her but Enid glanced at her. After more weeks had passed she no longer had the wound and she could run and do whatever she wanted. She felt it was only right to go on a mission with the group as a "Thank you".
Rick stood in front of everyone and said "Okay, today we are going to go get supplies, who wants to go?" Lola raised her hand. "Okay Jesus, Michonne, Daryll, Glenn, Lola... Anyone else?" Carl immediately raised his hand. "Carl you can't go, it's gonna be our three month anniversary!" Enid said. "I have to, okay?" "Fine, whatever." She responded. "Okay, Jesus, Michonne, Daryll, Glenn, Lola, Carl and I? Okay, Let's go." Rick said, walking toward the truck. Lola sat across from Carl. Awkward. They drove for awhile and saw a baby store. "Maggie's gonna give labor soon, so we better be prepared." Rick said. They all went inside. Lola went on her own to the baby food ailie. She collected all the different types of baby foods. She all the sudden heard growling. "Shit." A herd of walkers attacked. "Everyone run!" Lola yelled. She started running, when her bag of baby food got stuck against a broken crib. She couldn't let go. Maggie had done so much for her...
"Someone help." Lola yelled. Walkers started grabbing her. "Get down!" Someone yelled. So Lola did so. She heard a machine gun go off multiple times. The person grabbed her, "Come on Lola. Let go of the baby food! You're about to get bit again!" She finally let go and looked and saw Carl saving her. He picked her up and they started running for the truck.
They all sat in the truck. "Lola, are you crazy? You almost died! How can you be so stupid! All for some stupid baby food! Baby food is not as important as your life!" Rick yelled at her only because he cared about her. "Dad, lay off. Lola was just trying to do what you told her to... " Carl said protecting her. "Look i'm sorry. But that was very stupid... You could've died!" Rick said. "I'm sorry..." Lola said upset. "It's fine, but never do it again." Rick said. Carl scooted closer to her, they were shoulder to shoulder.
They pulled into a house. "Look, we're all tired so we are gonna sleep here tonight." Rick said. Lola went upstairs and found a room. Later that night, she was lying in bed when Carl walked in. "Mind if I come in?" He asked. "Go ahead..." She replied. He lied in the bed next to her. "I'm sorry about everything... kissing Enid..." "Don't forget about dating her..." Lola said. "I don't know why i'm with her. I honestly thought you were dead and needed comforting... " He said looking at the ceiling. "Comforting from the person who made me leave in the first place?" She asked. "See that's why I love... *Carl hesitates* I missed you, when you came back I thought you never wanted to see me or talk to me again so I didn't. But when I saw you almost die, I snapped out of it and saved you. I didn't want to lose you again... but for real this time.. You're not mine but I went through hell when you were gone. I hated myself. But when I saw you.. *He looked into Lola's eyes* I couldn't have been happier. You are the reason why i'm still here. You make me happy, I realized that when you left. Everything was hell. I lost all happiness. I didn't want to get out of bed. It just meant another day without you. I wasn't sure if I could live much longer honestly. I lost all my energy on thinking about different scenarios about how you lived or how you died... You are my everything. I can't lose you again, Lola. I really can't." Carl said close to tears.
Lola looked into his eyes and leaned in and started kissing him. After minutes of kissing, Lola pulled back and said "I never stopped loving you." "I love you so much, Lola Angela Green." Then went back to kissing. It was intimate. Carl sat up and started slowly taking off Lola's shirt. She also sat up and took off his shirt. Carl started kissing her neck and taking off her clothes... Hours later they sat there after having sex. Lola looked over and said "Carl, I love you..." Carl looked over at her and said "I love you..." and kissed her cheek. They fell asleep with Lola's head against his chest.
