Sorry for the long wait! We didn't see this until today!
"Liv, wait!" Sodapop Curtis, aka my boyfriend called after me as I stormed out of the DX, red faced.
My hazel eyes glazed over with anger. "What," I snapped, "do you want? That Tulsa spelled backwards Sandy is back and she wants you back. How am I supposed to trust that you won't go after her if you were going to marry her before she got pregnant? With another guys kid!"
Soda's eyes widened. "I'd never leave you, I would never do that to you, Liv."
His voice was low and soothing as he spoke. He held out his arms and I crumpled into them.
He ran his fingers through my brown long hair. There were perks of being short, like when Soda hugged me, I could hear his heart, which he always said poetically "only beats for you, Liv".
"Sandy is my past. You are my future, the only one I want, okay?" Soda pulled back, peering into my eyes.
I sighed. "Okay."
The door leading to where we were was opened by Sandy. "Speak of the devil," I growled. Soda gave me a look.
Sandy, in her blonde hair-blue eyes, perfect body, and sparkling smile glory strut up to us. "Soda! Who's this little friend?" Her voice was high and flirty.
"You're pronouncing girlfriend wrong, Sandy! That's Soda's new girl." Steve shouted from under a car. I held back a snort.
Sandy scowled. "Excuse me? I wasn't aware you moved on so fast, babe. Especially given our history..."
Soda raised an eyebrow. "History means past, and I've learned from my mistakes. I'm with the best girl ever now."
"Well then." Sandy glared at me a sashayed off, nose in the air.
I smiled up at my boyfriend. "Did you just?"
"Yeah." Soda smiled. "I'd choose you over and over in a heartbeat, Liv. I love you."
"And I you."
