*trigger warning.**Pandora sighed, "Sydney. I'm not your mother and I don't plan to act like it, but you should. You need too."
Sydney instantly pulled away. "No I don't. I'm not going."
"Sydney! Do you not understand? This is fucking important and if something happened to you, I honest to god, I don't fucking know what I'd do." She slightly raised her voice at her. Sydney's hands balled into fists as she backed up more. "It's too late for that, Pandora!" Sydney yelled unintentionally as she lifted her shirt up to show her stomach which was covered in cuts.
Pandora's hand flew to her mouth as tears clouded her vision, "No. No." She repeated, "Sydney, please.. Tell me this is the only time you've ever done this." Sydney dropped her shirt, staying silent as tears filled her eyes. "Sydney." Pandora sighed as she walked over to her. She pulled her into a tight hug, being care of watching her newly scarred stomach.
Sydney sniffed and mumbled. "I don't want your sympathy."
"I'm not giving you sympathy.." Pandora slightly trailed off, knowing she was doing exactly what Sydney didn't want her to do. "You are. That's exactly what you're doing, and you know it." Sydney stated, gently pushing Pandora away. Pandora looked toward the ground, "I'm sorry."
"I think I'm just going to go home."
"No. Please stay Syd." Pandora begged, "We don't have to swim. We can do whatever you want." She tried to bargain. "I already told you, I don't want sympathy." Sydney replied, wrapping her arms around herself. Pandora sighed before muttering, "I'm not giving you sympathy." as she walked out of the kitchen. Sydney sat on the kitchen floor, pulling her knees to her chest as she hit her head back against the wall.
"Sean. Come here." Pandora sighed. Sean stood up and walked over to Pandora. "Yeah? What is it?" She just gestured to follow her. Sean nodded slowly, glancing back at Mark for a moment before following Pandora.
She walked up the stairs and into a room, Sean following. She shut the door quietly behind him, "Sean. We need to do something about her." She whispered as she twiddled her thumbs. Sean let out a sigh before nodding. "I know we do, but she'll never do it."
"What do we do? I can't just sit around, watching her suffer. And you live with her!" Pandora replied. "She refuses to go to a doctor."
"I know that!" Sean almost yelled, swallowing hard. "Don't you fucking raise your voice with me, Sean." Pandora hissed, "You might be my boyfriends best friend and my best friends boyfriend, but I'll-" she stopped talking. What would she do? Nothing. And that's the thing; and Sean knew that.
"You won't do anything. I know that. Sydney knows that. Mark knows that." Sean walked over to the door and opened it.
"Sean.." Pandora sighed. "What." He asked flatly. "I'm sorry." She muttered faintly. "It's just.. That's my best friend and I don't know- i don't know what I'd do if something happened to her."
