"So we found this.." Pandora smiled at Mark as she held up a black shirt that had a pink mustache on it. "Uh huh." Mark muttered back not really listening to his girlfriend. She kept rambling on about how she found the shirt and instantly thought of him, but soon shut up, realizing he wasn't actually listening to her."So yeah, I went a fucked your brother last night." She sarcastically yelled to him as she got off the couch and walked into the kitchen.
Mark looked up. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me." She replied back, not really paying attention to him until she heard him walk into the room, both his hands being roughly placed on each side of her body on the marble top on the island. "Are you fucking serious?" Mark nearly yelled.
Pandora rolled her eyes are her gullible boyfriend, seeing the angry state he was in. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't a little afraid. "Totally." She sarcastically replied, making the sarcasm evident in her voice as a laugh escaping her lips. But Mark still hadn't caught on.
"What the fuck kind of person does that?!" Mark yelled, throwing his hands up. Pandora just stayed quiet, watching her boyfriend go into frantic mode, "I can't believe you." She laughed, "You honestly think id do that? Especially to you?"
"What do you mean? You just said you did." Mark grumbled, watching her.
"Because you wasn't listening to me!" She fought back, "I barely talk to you about things like this and you still have the nerve not to listen!"
"Well I'm so sorry, Pandora!"
Pandora just let out a sigh before speaking, "Do you ever wonder why we're together sometimes?" She whispered, thinking she said it quiet enough where he wouldn't hear.
Mark let out a huff of air before subtly nodding. "Sometimes." He whispered back. "But I think we're still good together."
"Are you sure about that or are just saying that because you don't wanna come to the realization that all we ever do is fight and if we're not fighting, you're always recording or something?" Pandora gently whispered, no emotion being sensed in her soft tone.
"I really think that, Panda.." Mark trailed off.
"I honestly don't know anymore." She choked out, a tear streaming down her face. She could feel Mark watching her every move. Mark inched closer to her, gently wiping away the year with his thumb. "We're going to be okay.."
"Do you honestly believe that?" She asked, her usually sparkly, full of life, blue eyes, but now dark blue, cold, and tired eyes meeting his brown ones. "I really do." Mark murmured, staring back at his beautiful girlfriend. She diverted her eyes away from his face as a small smile was placed on her face. She wrapped her arms around his neck then standing on her tippy toes, pulling herself into his chest.
He held her close to him, burying his face in the crook of her neck and placing a small kiss above her shoulder. "I'm tired of arguing with you.." She lowly replied, wrapping her arms a little tighter, "Can we just have a normal relationship? You know, like Sydney and Sean?"
"I want that, too." Mark murmured in her ear. "I want us to be normal, but we're anything but that."
"That's true, my love." She said as she pulled back, a smile over taking her face.
Mark smiled back, pulling her close again. "So where did you go yesterday?" Pandora asked, her curiosity taking over her. She honestly hadn't worried about Mark after they fought yesterday, once again.
"I went over to Sean and Sydney's." Mark replied, looking down at Pandora. "Where I usually go."
"Oh." She softly replied, "How was Syd feeling? I know she wasn't feeling the best when we left them."
"She was upstairs sleeping, she wasn't feeling much better." He started, "I kind of woke her up with my yelling and got chewed out, I left Sean to fend for himself.." Mark trailed off, visibly shivering.
Pandora let out a snort, "You're an awful friend." She laughed. Mark started laughing, rubbing the back of his neck. "He should have listened to his lady friend."
"You mean your best friend?" Pandora said as she walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room, sitting on the couch, slowly patting the seat next to her.
Mark sat down beside her. "Yes, I do." She threw her legs over his lap as she watched him pick up the Xbox controller again. "Mark.." She whined. Mark rested his hands on her legs, rubbing them up and down slowly. "Yes?"
"You could put the controller down and we could talk or cuddle." She tried to bargain. "Or we could cuddle and play games together?" Mark suggested.
Pandora smiled, "I guess we can do that." She said as she lifted Marks arm, then burying her body underneath it, her back against his chest. "What are you playing?"
Mark smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Call of Duty."
"Oh.." She trailed off, placing the controller that she had been handed down. "You don't want to play with me?" Mark asked, pouting.
"Eh. Not really, but I'll watch you play." She said, honestly. She rested her hand on his thigh and the two watched the screen.
Mark kissed the back of Pandora's neck lightly and nodded. "Okay, beautiful." She just cuddled into his side as he pulled her tighter.
About thirty minutes later, he paused the game, noticing that Pandora had fallen asleep on his chest, her hand still placed on his leg. He slowly got up, placing her softly on the couch, a sigh escaping his lips as he watched her chest rise and fall, then gripping his phone in his hand. He quickly made his way outside, dialing a number then pressing the phone to his ears.
"Hey mom.. It's me.."
