As Sydney arrived back at her apartment, she could see Sean sitting outside on the stairs. "Hey." She smiled at his as she walked up them, "How is she?" She asked. "She's asleep." He replied, softly. "Look-"
"I know. You need your best friend back." Sean sighed, "and I'm fine with that, babe."
Sydney smiled as she hugged Sean, then quickly pulling his face to her, placing a kiss on the tip of his nose, "I love you." She mumbled as she rested her forehead on his. "I love you too." He smiled at her. He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her onto his lap.
The two cuddled on the stairs, watching the beautiful LA sky fade from dark to light. "I think we should go to bed." Sean yawned, watching the now pink, orange, and purple illuminated sky.
"Yeah." Sydney agreed as the two stood up and walked inside. They walked to their room, Sydney quickly checking on Pandora before going to her room. She slid into the bed next to the green haired man, his arm instantly going around Sydneys waist. They exchanged "I love you."'s before falling into a deep sleep, which would be disturbed hours later.
***"I'm coming! God! Stop knocking!" Sean shouted as he walked down the hallway, Sydney following. "I'm going to kill whoever that is." She growled. Sean jerked the door open, revealing a frantic Mark, who had his hand in his hair. His eyes looking panicked as he looked around then back at Sean and Sydney as he heard the door open.
"She's upstairs, Mark. She's okay." Sydney instantly stated, letting out a soft sigh as she moved to the side to let him in. "How the hell did you know?" Mark asked, confusing striking his sharp features. "I can see you're worried, and Pandora stayed over here last night. I put two and two together, bud."
"Oh." He sighed, "Where the hell did she go last night? She said she was going out and never returned." He asked, anger bubbling inside of him, "and why the the hell didn't you two let me know she was here?" He growled. His eyes darted to Sean as he said this.
Sydney expression turned cold. "First of all, her brother took her to a bar and she got drunk. He fucking did this." She started, glaring at Mark, "Second of all, it was fucking late. Almost 3 in the morning. I didn't know if you were awake and we didn't want to wake her up when she was still pretty shit faced just so she could go over to your place and get into a fight with you." She finished, her eyes boring into his. "Now. Do you want to come in or not?"
"I'm gonna fucking kill that kid." Mark growled as he stepped inside. "I'm thankful for you guys. I'm pretty sure a fight would have started.." He sighed. "We know. I know YOU. You fucking dipshit." Sydney huffed as she hit the back of Mark's head, a little giggle escaping Sean who had been watching to exchange. Mark quietly mocked her as he rubbed the back of his head. "I'm just wondering why she went." He mumbled, "and why were you two there?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
A flush covered Sydney's cheeks as she placed a hand over Sean's mouth before he could speak. "No reason." She muttered.
Mark let out a laugh, knowing exactly what the green headed man was gonna say. "Mark? Why didn't you come to-" Pandora stopped talking once she looks around, "This isn't my house." She muttered. Sydney removed her hand from Sean's mouth. "No, it's ours." Sean stated, looking up at Pandora.
"Why am I here?" She asked as she held her head, "Why does my head hurt?" She fired questions out, "and why didn't Luke take me home? I thought you was pissed at me," she pointed to Sydney, "and you, you pretty much hate me." She shrugged as she pointed to Sean. "Shut up for two seconds and we can answer your questions, okay?" Sydney replied, letting out a long sigh.
"Fine." She huffed as she crossed her arms across her chest. She shot a small glare at Sean before looking back toward Sydney. "You're here because you were drunk and dancing half naked on a bar. Your brother and the guys weren't looking after you. Your head hurts because you have a hangover. The guys were all too drunk to drive. I don't hate you, I could never hate you. You're my best friend, and Sean was just being a pissed off prick." Sydney breath in deeply after her long sentence.
