Chapter Five

 Chapter Five

We were lucky we had the first three days of the trip to ourselves, then it would be all hard work for a week, and then another three free days, and a mad dash to pack up before leaving.

I sat there on the beach while Casey was breathing down my neck thinking the trip over. I never swam in oceans and I only came down here to check out the scenery.

“Come for a swim” he begged.

I sighed, and looked straight into his eyes.

“I don’t swim in oceans!” I reminded him.

He stood up and walked onto the shore, where the water was lapping at his ankles. Then took a step back, until finally it was up to his hips.

“Come on Tayah” he said.

“No.” I said.

“Shall I call Lulu out then?” he asked.

I stood up and brushed the sand off my legs, and started walking over to Casey.

He walked forwards and extended his arms out to me. I leaned forward and took them, feeing the cool sea water at my feet.

“Look at me” he said.

Our lips locked, and it was only him I was thinking about.

“Tayah open your eyes” he said.

I opened them slowly, and realized I was up to my neck in the water. How this happened I have no clue, but I began to freak out immediately.

“Casey, please get me out” I sobbed.

“No” he said. “Nothing is going to happen to you.”

I stayed silent, my eyes squeezed shut.

“Do you trust me?” he asked.

“Yes” I said.

“Then trust this” he said.

After we were all swum out, we headed back to the hotel for sleep.

“Can we swap beds?” the boys asked us, pleading with puppy dog eyes.

“No, you can have man hugs for tonight” Kat replied.

We laughed, and slammed the door in their stunned faces.

“I call our shower” I yelled, pushing Sienna, Selena and Jenna out the way from our bathroom.

“DON’T USE MY FREE SHAMPOO!” Sienna yelled after me.

“No idiot I got my own” I said, grabbing my toiletries bag, and heading into the bathroom.

When we were all showered up, we decided we would head down to the restaurant downstairs for dinner.

“I’ll go and tell the boys” I said, heading out listening to the click-clack of my heels on the floor behind me.

I opened the boy’s door, and found no one in the living area, they were all sleeping! At five in the afternoon.
