Chapter Thirteen

So the chapters are kinda getting shorter, which means I'm finding less to write about so the book should change up a bit soon :)

 Chapter Thirteen 

  ~Kat's POV~  

I couldn't believe Jenna was pregnant! It was just something I never saw coming for that girl, she seemed so smart and Jack seemed so careful. It really was a mystery.

There was the option that it was a pure attention screamer and that Jenna wasn’t pregnant, but I wasn’t one to judge so I was going to keep my mouth shut for the time being.  

"Hey Katy" Sophie said coming over and sitting beside me.

No one had ever called me Katy before, but I liked it better then Kat, it made me sound like an animal. I'd be happy to be known as Katy from now on.

"Yeh" I said, drawing love hearts in the sand with Hayden’s initials in them.

"Do you miss Zoe?" she asked, looking out to the ocean.

Zoe was one of my best friends from primary school all the way through to high school. I trusted her with anything and we understood each other really well.

"Well I haven't really thought about it too much to be honest, I've been a little preoccupied" I replied.

“There’s just so much going on.”

"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Tayah asked, sitting on the other side of Sophie, and Selena coming and sitting next to me.

"Who we miss" Sophie said. “From high school you know.”

"Well I miss Furgy" Selena said out of the blew.

We broke down laughter.

Furgy was a sort of fat girl, with red hair and glasses. We nicknamed her Furgy because it's an acronym for what she is, and since we talked about her a lot it was smarter to have a code name for her.

"She was so fat she couldn't run the oval without an asthma attack" Tayah laughed. “I’m a horrible person.”

It was nice to bring back the old days, a change from our current lifestyles.

"How's Casey?" I asked Tayah, I hadn’t heard much about her love life at the moment.

"Bloody hot as usual!" she laughed. "I still can't believe he's mine, he’s way to good for me."

“I always wondered what you girls talked about when we weren’t around” said Casey standing behind Tayah.

"You heard that whole convo?" Sophie asked him.

"Yes and I'm flattered" he said, kissing Tayah's lips lovingly. “But like I have told you a hundred times and I will keep telling you beautiful girl that you do deserve me.”

I swear a few of us sighed in jealousy.  

Sienna came and joined us after Casey had gone and we started to talk again.

"Oh Selena, biggest bombshell!" Sienna said, once realizing that Selena was back from her date with Ricky.

"What?!" Selena yelled, she was always keen to get in on the gossip.

"Jenna's pregnant!" she whispered.

"WHAT!!" Selena yelled. “JENNA’S PREGNANT!”

It seemed like Sienna had whispered it in caution only for Selena to announce it to the whole world anyway.

"Jack knocked her up" Tayah said. “Apparently.”

"S*it!" Selena gasped.

"I find it hard to believe" I thought out loud before quickly clapping my hands over my mouth.

"Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks that!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Me too" Sienna said.

"Tayah?" Selena asked.

"I don't know, I mean why would she lie about something like that?" she pondered.

"For attention duh!" Selena pointed out.

“She’s the only one out of the drama.”

"Still" Tayah said. “It’s a dumb thing to lie about.”

"Can we ask her?" Sophie asked.

"No she'd just get lousy!" I said. “Did you see how she reacted when Jack asked her if it could just be a mistake?”

"Jack didn't believe her?" Selena asked.

"Remember how she said it was one night without protection?” Tayah asked. “Jack just seemed shocked as though nothing of the sort had happened.”

"Wow, well let's go sort her out lovies" Selena decided. “Shall we talk to Jack first?”

“Nope, let’s go straight to Jenna” Sienna decided.  

We marched over to Kelly, Hannah and Jenna who were sitting on the rocks overlooking the beach. Jenna seemed to look normal, but I assumed that she was telling Kelly about the pregnancy.

"Jenna we need to talk" Selena said, interrupting her without even apologizing.

"Go" she said, cueing Selena to begin.

"How could you possibly be pregnant?" Selena asked.

"I told you guys remember?" Jenna said. "You don't believe me do you?"

"Uhm...."

"No typical! I can't believe you guys!" she spat. "Don't hang around with them or they'll just gossip about you!"

"How dare you say that!" Tayah roared.

"Because it's true" she said smirking.

"Screw you whore!" Tayah laughed, leaving.

"Who's side are you on?" Jenna asked us once Selena had run off after Tayah.

"My best friends" Sienna said. Then we all walked off together.

Girl fights were just added to this crazy island. What was next?
