Okay, so this is a short length chapter but it has some vital importance to the story :)
Enjoy, and look out for the author's note at the bottom.

Chapter Seventeen
~Tayah’s POV~
Selena and I sat huddled on her bed, which we had pushed against a wall. We had checked the entire room and there was no way that Lulu could have gotten in, and since Ricky was mentioned in the last clue we worried that Selena was next.
Casey and Ricky were on the other side of the door, allowing watch and us to sleep. But our blood was so riled that we just sat there together petrified with fear.
We had sorted a code, just in case Lulu somehow found either of us and we were to use it for then and only then. It was stuck in my head, I just hoped that the boys remembered it too.
Selena held a baseball bat, and I had a pillow. I don’t know how I was supposed to maim someone with a pillow, but it was all there was.
The police had come and been again, and forensics were in the kitchen area still looking for prints.
We were still in a real spot of bother, since like the last murder we were still each others alibis and it wasn’t looking good.
The police were in one part of the house, just to keep an eye on us and we were on the other part. I just hoped this was enough to get Lulu to stay away for tonight before we worked out a safer scenario.
Selena and I were shivering. We were sharing a blanket and a duvet but it didn’t stop the cold that was running through us.
“It’s Lulu” Selena whispered, chewing on the blanket we were sharing.
“I think you’re right” I agreed.
“But we saw her drown” Selena fought. “You tried to save her remember?”
“Yeh, maybe I’m the only one she doesn’t have anything against?” I guessed.
“She hates all of us” Selena said.
“We practically made her high school life a hell” I reminded her. “But murder is a bit far isn’t it?”
We were deep in conversation when we heard a door creak, and sitting on Selena’s bed we jumped up and hit our heads on the roof.
The cupboard door had been pushed open from the inside and there stood a hooded, masked and dressed in black killer who was clearly female.
We hadn’t spotted them when we had checked the cupboard because they were like a pile of rags.
“You know black is meant to be a slimming color” Selena informed the stranger. “It’s not working.”
I wacked Selena hard, she didn’t need to antagonize this person anymore since they were already planning on killing her.
She got the message and stepped back into the corner, trying to conceal the fact that she was holding a metal baseball bat.
“Sorry” she said, backing off.
“Who are you?” I asked, trying to mask fear with gentleness in my voice.
The killed stayed mute, but held a finger up to her mouth, and pointed with another hand to Selena’s photo collage that held many photos. She turned her back to Selena without realizing.
I looked to where she was pointing. There was a picture of me, Sienna and Lulu all sitting there arm in arm. It was true that we used to be friends, but then she turned sour and we wanted nothing to do with her.
Then I realized what she was saying. She was Lulu.
“You are Lulu” I whispered, overcome with a weird sense of relief.
She pulled her mask off and there she stood. Her curls in a twisted mess, bits of crap all through it. Her mono-brow had become a mega-brow, and her eyes looked cold, harsh and hollow and mascara was smeared all over the place. Her nose ring bore the shape of a serpent and her teeth were dirty and clenched.
I looked to her hands, which were dirty and caked with blood. It looked as though she had tried to rub it off, but just smudged it horribly and under her fingernails was putrid dried blood.
“You tried to save me, why?” she asked, her voice scratched and ugly.
“Even though we hated you, no one deserves to die” I said, before realizing the stupidity of my answer. “But you killed Jenna, Toby and Kelly didn’t you?”
I noticed Selena sneaking up behind Lulu with the baseball bat she’d found in her cupboard, and needed to keep her distracted.
“Yes, I did” she said.
“What happened to thou shall not murder?” I asked, realizing how weird that was.
“I was doing it to make the world a better place, to make people to see God’s way” she said. “And they did deserve to die. Just like Selena does.”
She turned around and hit Selena over the head with an object of some sort, and she crumpled to the floor. My insides were churning, was she going to kill Selena in front of me then do the same to me?
“La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la” I sang, using the iconic ‘Good Guys’ tune.
This was code to get the boys to come running. I just preyed that I had sang it loud enough and that it wasn’t too late for Selena.
“Don’t do this Lulu” I said. “Please don’t.”
“I was only planning on killing her, but you’re next since your in my way” she snarled.
The boys crashed through the door, just as Lulu smashed me over the head with something hard and I entered the world of all that was black.

So I'm gonna write another few chapters of this book, mainly it being Lulu's story about what happened and a kinda tribute to the characters who had been killed by her.
Love some suggestions ?
