In the morning Jean was up early. He got to see Mikasa first thing. He chose to wear distressed jeans, a black v-neck shirt with a plaid cover. He also grabbed a black beanie before leaving his room.

"Jean-Boy, why are you up so early?" His mom asked her.

He ignored her.

"Here, I will pack you a lunch," she offered.

"I'm fine mom," he sighed. "I'm going to help a friend with costumes."

He left before his mom could say anything else.

Mikasa woke up to find Eren downstairs already. He was dressed in sweatpants and a muscle tee, Mikasa wearing black jeans with a lace top.

Next to Eren were the costumes.

"I thought I would bring them up," he mumbled. "You know, because I can't help you take them."

"Thanks Eren," she replied. He never took the time to do things like this. It was weird. Like when he told her to put on leggings.

She got the mail from the front door. There was a water bill. She sighed.

She found another envelop, this one addressed to her. Inside of it was money, separated by different paper clips.

She knew what this meant. When Dr.Yeager wasn't back in time she received money for the bills and food.

She put the money in her room quickly, so after school she could mail it to the companies.

"I'm going to go grocery shopping later, make a list," she said when she got back down. Eren nodded.

The doorbell rang, Armin came in the door.

"Hey Eren, are you ready to go yet?" He asked him.

"Yeah, in one sec," Eren replied. He stood at the door, waiting. After the doorbell didn't ring again he sighed and left with Armin.

"Was he waiting for Jean?" Mikasa wondered.

It wasn't before long Jean rang the doorbell. The two of them loaded the car and chatted about the musical.

"I wonder what part I'll get," Jean stammered. "I- I mean, I'm not that great, so it's expected for me to get a sucky part, but that's okay."

"The cast list of was posted online last night. I got the email around four," Mikasa responded.

"Cool, did you see what you got?" Jean asked parking the car. The who of them went around back to get the costumes.

"Yeah, I did I'm-" before Mikasa could say anything Sasha ran up.

"Oh, I can help too," She smiled. "I want to see the costumes your mom made."

The conversation about the musical was lost. The four of them (Marco joined the group also) walked to the theatre dropped off the costumes, than split to their separate ways.

"Marco, really?" Jean asked him.

"What?" He paused. "Oh yeah. I thought it looked awkward for you. It was like you were third wheeling, except even more awkward than that."

The two of them laughed it off and went to their first hours.

First attempt to try to talk to Mikasa, didn't go so well.

During gym Eren was shooting daggers at Jean.

"What's his problem?" Jean asked himself. Then he remembered, he was just with his sister. Eren didn't seem to be the type to be overprotective, but from the looks of it, he is.

In art they started embroidery. It was something that Mikasa's birth mom taught her.

Today they were just doing the basics. Mikasa was reminiscing when the junior across from her started talking.

"You're really good," she told Mikasa. "Did you learn from someone?"

"Yeah," Mikasa said. "My mom taught me."

That was one similarly between the two of them. They could both sew. This worried her. Mrs. Yeager hasn't been back in awhile. She could tell even Eren was worried.

For the rest of the hour her mind was filled with doubt. She had lost her parents once, she didn't want to lose them again.

Her excitement for the musical just died a little.
