Mikasa woke up to see Armin watching over her and Eren asleep with his head rested on her stomach.

"Eren, wake up!" Armin called to him.

"Just a five more minutes Mikasa," he mumbled back.

Eyes finally adjusting to the light, Mikasa realized that she wasn't in her room.

"Where am I Armin?" She asked him.

"The hospital wing at school, you've been passing out a lot lately," he replied.

"Weird," she thought to herself. "I don't remember going to school. The last I remember I was, I don't know."

"What day is it?" She questioned.

"Thursday," Armin said. "You don't remember?"

Mikasa shook her head, "What hour is it?"

"It's still lunch hour," Armin responded.

"Oh, okay," she mumbled. "I'm going to go to class."

She stumbled out into the hallway. The lights are bright. They make her head hurt.

"Oh Mikasa!" Jean called. "Are you really okay? Every time I try to ask, you just say you are fine. You don't seem very fine."

Mikasa was still in a dream like haze. She couldn't see right. All she could see were her parents, her dead parents.

She started crying again, she wanted to go home.

"Hey, Mikasa," Jean said hugging her. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know," she mumbled. "I don't know what's wrong."

The bell rang and Mikasa winced.

"I'm going to the office," she said to him walking away.

He looked at her. Why wouldn't she tell him what was wrong?

The phone rang when Mikasa entered the office. There were students sitting in the chairs, some with ice packs, others glaring at another across the room.

"I feel sick," she told them.

"Just call your parent to pick you up," the women responded.

"They aren't home," she whispered as she picked up the phone. She punched in the numbers and waited as the phone rang.

"I'm sorry, the number you called is currently unavailable," it started.

"They're outside," she said.

The women nodded and turned her attention to someone else. Mikasa walked outside and headed home.

She took a shower and sighed. She felt more awake now, but not at the same time.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a sad little girl, that wasn't who she was.

She was never a sad child, she never got upset.

"Stop living in the past and live in the present," her mother once told her. "Hold on to what you have, you'll miss it one day."

That's right. Eren and Dr.Yeager are still there, and Mrs.Yeager wasn't gone yet.

She could protect what she had, she was stronger than that.

With a new goal in mind, Mikasa forgot why she was worried. She pulled out her school work and finished it.

Then she turned to the script. She probably hadn't memorized anything.

"I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then,"
