When Mikasa got back from the grocery store, she felt tired. She had a long day, so she curled up in bed and watched T.V.

She couldn't keep her eyes open, so she was soon sound asleep.

"Mikasa!" Eren called. "Where did you put the shampoo?"

When Eren got no answer he went to her room and knocked.

Mikasa couldn't hear him, so he just opened the door.

Upon seeing that she was asleep, Eren decided to just find it on his own. He shut off the T.V and went downstairs. After he showered he started his schoolwork.

He immediately found something he didn't understand.

"I'll go ask Mikasa," he thought to himself. Then he remembered that she was asleep, and he didn't want to bother her. He texted Armin, and he was soon over.

Armin helped Eren with what he needed, then they played video games for a bit.

Talking about classes Eren remembered that Armin was really smart.

"What's Existential Crisis?" He asked. After all the time spent with Mikasa, he never really knew the answer.

"It's when you realize that you and everyone you love will die one day, and feeling like there is no meaning to life," Armin paused. "Why?"

"It's just, Mikasa seems to go through it frequently, do you think it could be because she was orphaned?" Eren questioned.

"Yeah," Armin said. "That most likely a big thing. Now your parents are never home. It makes her more of a double orphan."

He never thought of that. But it was true. Mikasa needs to be around people, and his parents disappearance wasn't helping.

"Thanks Armin," he replied.

In her sleep, Mikasa didn't dream. She was just there, laying in darkness, thinking. It was a resting phase, not awake but not really asleep.

She thought about her birth parents. She missed them a lot. She remembered when she learned how to sew, and how on that day she didn't get answered.

Then she remembered that they are gone. She felt worse than before. She wants to see them.

Than someone popped into her head. It as Eren and Jean.

They were arguing. She didn't know what it was about.

As soon as they boys say that she was there they rushed to her side along if she was okay.

Was she okay? She didn't know.

They soon dissipated from her mind as well, and she was back in the black space.

She soon was really asleep. The sound of her syncopated breathing filled the room.
