A fresh start on this new school year of eighth grade and I'm excited to see if people changed over the summer or just stayed the same. I finally had classes with my best friend Clarissa not all but some. When I saw her she looked the same but I knew she was ready to start this year fresh and not worry about anything same as me. Clarissa has been my best friend since we were in fifth grade. She is so unique that's why I became best friends with her, she was like my other sister. Before the school actually started we were walking around the school waiting to see if we saw any other of our friends. A lot of the guys and few of the girls looked totally different like some you did not know it was them. As I was walking around school and my eyes wide open with shocked when I saw Shirley, she still looked the same and still looked like a bitch as ever. I think she got worst. We made eye contact and she rolled her eyes at me but I did not let it bother me because I know that I was not going to have any problems with her. My best friend and I just kept on walking around because I wasn't going to fight with her like we almost did last year. It was officially 8:15pm and Clarissa and I went to our first class which was math. It was the first day of school and already my first period class was terrible and the teacher was getting upset. I was one of the students that would listen to the teacher but also be a rebel at the same time. Later on threw out all my class all we did is read this huge yellow hand book of rules, which in my head I thought it was pointless and stupid. It was already fifth period and Clarissa saw a guy that was in that class and she hit my arm.
"Alondra! Did you see that?" Clarissa said with excitement.
"See what Clarissa?" I said confused.
"That boy that's across the room." Clarissa said in the sweetest tenderly voice.
"Ohh yeah that's Sergio I knew him since sixth." I said getting grossed out because I knew what she was already thinking.
"Oh really wow he is so stunning." Clarissa said and I knew she was going to get feelings.
I just looked at her and I knew she wouldn't have the chance with him only because she was going to be to weird for him and he would not like that. The day was officially over I was ready to go back home and this was just the beginning.

Furthermore, about two months has past by and school was going great. I had the right grades and I worked my ass off to keep them like that. But one day one of my other friend Mary she was the type of girl who had your back no matter what and was really smart. Mary texted me one night but I did not reply because I was tired so the next morning I replied and she told me that she did not want to be my friend anymore. I did not reply, I just kept wondering why she didn't want to be my friend.  That morning I saw Clarissa and I asked if she had anything to do with Mary not becoming my friend anymore. She just looked at me with a sad face and I knew she knew something about it.
"Alondra I did know about this but I swear I did not know it was going to happen like this" Clarissa replied
"Whatever, so what did she tell you?" I demanded.
"Well she told me that she did not want to be your friend anymore because she had that she hates how your fake like you say that you hate that person but yet still talk to them." Clarissa replied.
"That's bullshit I'm not like! She's the one who's like that." I said in a furious voice.
I told Clarissa to stay away from me and to never talk to me because if she was really my "best friend" she would tell me this way before it happened and not later when it did. I ran away from her going to one of the teachers classroom. She followed me in the classroom and she kept telling me how sorry she was and soon I forgave her. A few minutes flew by and Mary walked threw the door. She saw me and gave me a face that she was really really sorry for what she did so she left the classroom and told one of her friends to tell me to go outside so I can hear her explain why she stopped being my friend. Well I did not go because I did not want to look, talk or even make eye contact with her because she thinks I'm the bad person but she does the same thing. I went a whole day having no one to hang out with and the worst part was that no matter where I went I saw my friends. What the bad part was that my own best friend Clarissa hanged out with Mary and she never spoke to me again. I was lucky enough to have my other friends Laila and Lynn. Laila is the quite type and does not talk but is hella good at basketball and Lynn I knew since kindergarten and she was a little odd but was a really nice person. They invited me to hang out with them because they felt bad for what happened. I hanged out with them for about three month then I started hanging out with my other friends Andrea, Nancy, Janessa and sadly Shirley that was one of the reasons I did not want to really hang out with them. Everyday I would see Mary and them sometimes it would make me sad that I had to look at them having fun without me. What made me upset was that Clarissa did not even bother to come up to me and say hi or whatever I mean that was bullshit. I would text her every here and then but then she would not answer. Laila and Lynn would be my closet friend what the best part was that I had every class with  Laila so I didn't have to worry about walking alone only when she wasn't here. I started noticing that when I was with Laila and Lynn more people started to talk to me because one of them said that before. One day when of the boys came up to me and said that he knows that he can trust me because I don't hang out with the other bitches. He also said that he noticed I was being myself and not giving a fuck about anybody anymore.
